“Nice place with great people”
Everything, the location was just at the takeoff. The owner and her husband provided every day a fresh breakfast and a great dinner. It is very familiar. They also organized the airport shuttle and motorbikes for us. It was clean and has a very nice view.

Florence the host is an amazing cook, proper for good food and great coffee, grown on her farm. The location and view are breathtaking, it is a calm beautiful place to rest and enjoy Iten. Lots of walks to be done nearby.

“Amazing stay in Iten!”
We really enjoyed staying at Keon’s and Florence’s place. Especially the breakfast and the joint dinner was amazing! We had the best banana bread ever! The place is very calm and has an amazing scenic view of the Kerio Valley! The waterfall hike was another highlight, just a few minutes walk.

The room size was good. Superb views over the Great Rift Valley from the property grounds. The excellent Kaptagat Forest was easily accessible, just a short walk away along a decent track. The host was very responsive to our questions beforehand. Breakfast (included in the room rate) and dinner (excellent value) were both very good. Coffee was excellent. Vegetarian meals were no problem for the hosts. Wi-fi was also very good. The temperature was also very pleasant - not too hot, or too cold.

We occupied the family house, which was more than spacious for our 4-members family. Meals together with the host family were very good and we enjoyed the chat as well. The view from the house and the garden is breathtaking.

The hosts are a power-couple regarding their hospitality and delicious food! Because of the distance to town we had dinners at the property and were thrilled with the delicious, healthy, homemade options! We were able to sample some of their recently harvested avocados and coffee! We were able to purchase cold beers with which to enjoy the sunset casting its shadow into the valley below. The cool nights make for some deep sleeping! The hosts helped us arrange a safari down into the valley! Very nice experience!

The view is wonderful and the place is friendly. A perfect spot for hiking in the forest and down the escarpment. Plus there was a freshly baked bread for breakfast!

“Beautiful, quiet, restful, wonderful”
We loved our stay at Kilima Resort. The owners were the hosts and their attentiveness and pride in their home/resort showed! The room was fantastic with ample electrical plugs for all our gadgets. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable and the shower had lots if hot water and water pressure. The food was excellent- homemade and tasty. The location is amazing -right on the escarpment - a bit off the beaten track and close to wonderful forest trails. It was everything I hoped for and more!
