“Enjoyed amenities and hospitality without losing the small town feel”
Pousada das Araras was the perfect base from which to explore the area around Itaúnas. What first struck me was the unique layout. The reception area is accessed by a bridge over the pool, and the side with the rooms has a verdant courtyard. The bathroom was spacious and the beds were comfortable. My particular room had a small patio with a drying rack that proved useful for beach-going. The proprietors are friendly and knowledgeable about the area, providing great planning tips. The breakfast was the best I've had at any pousada! The delicious items are made in house every day, and the dedication to this detail shows.
