“Perfect place to base yourself for hikes in Itatiaia”
- Central location (next to supermarket) - Close to bus stop for National Park - Attentive staff who can provide help - Large common areas, lockers, fans - Able to store luggage during hike - Good kitchen - They arrange the rooms to give you as much space during low season

“Good place”
Very clean and new. 15min walk from bus terminal. Secure. Good common area. Staff available, helful and reactive only on whatsapp. No reception.

“10/10 would recommend!”
I had a super nice time at Paradise Hostel, Alex was the sweetest host ever. I haven’t planned anything in advance, he shared with me all the good spots to go to in Itatiaia National Park, arranged transportation to go there, and even found an amazing guide to take me to the Parte Alta 👍🏻 The hostel is super well located, 20min walking from the bus station, supermarket pharmacy and café are less than 5min away walking. Kitchen is well equipped, except that there are no cooking plates, but you can get inventive 😉 + they have super good pizzas downstairs if you are lazy to cook!

“A super calm place with amazing hiking opportunities for an affordable price.”
the owner was super nice and helped me a lot. the town is the ledge that place to stay to head to the National Parc, for everybody who doesn’t like touristy towns. It is super calm, there is a fruit shop and supermarket around the corner. the bus stop is right in front of the house. From there you got three buses a day to get to the nacional parc and many buses to Resende.
