The pool area was absolutely fantastic, beautiful to swim in, amazing at sunset as the sky darkened. Staff were very kind, cocktails at the bar great!

“The perfect pousada stay in a perfect location in Itacaré”
Everything. It was clean, the staff were nice, the breakfast was delicious (especially the tapiocas) and the pool area very relaxing and clean. The staff making the breakfast were always in such a happy mood and were very friendly. The jacuzzi was also a nice option too. The bathroom and shower was modern and everything in working order. The location was absolutely fantastic as it was close to everything Overall the pousada is beautifully decorated with plants and trees all around the pool and the bar/kitchen area giving a nice rustic feel to it. We really enjoyed our stay here

“Beautiful Pousada with amazing staff”
Great location, everyone super friendly and helpful at the Pousada. The room was clean, the garden well taken care of, and the pool big enough to swim and enjoy the day or evening. We liked everything about the Pousada itself.

“Amazing place”
We had an amazing stay at Vira Canoa, which has a great location between the beach and the main street with shops and restaurants. The bungalow was very comfortable and clean, boasting a terrace with a huge hammock to relax and enjoy the view; there was a delicious breakfast served in the lounge. The common areas are very tastefully decorated and inviting. All the staff were super friendly; special thanks to the receptionists Reinaldo and Stefany, who were always very obliging; the barman for his tasty cocktails; cleaning ladies Alana, Adelia, Lou, Tania and Jamile, who always made our bed look beautiful; and breakfast ladies Lou, Luisa, Lane, Bia and Josi for the great breakfast.

“Unacceptable pool towel charges - with a racist receptionist …”
Charging your guests an extra fee for use of a pool towel has never happened too me in 30 years travelling - when i highlighted this unacceptable extra charge - i got a xenophobic racist answer from reception - that as i foreigner i did not understand the local habits …. Unacceptable on every level !

We enjoyed our stay in Pousada Vira Canoa and would recommend this place. The rooms and main areas of the hotel were always very clean. The garden with its flowers and the pool invites to relax and there was a big breakfast buffet every morning. The hotel is centrally located - restaurants, shops and beaches could be reached by foot very easily.
