What an absolute gem! We arrived late, and it was dark, so we didn't see that Iannis had written our apartment number on the board at the gate, but when we knocked on the reception door he was so charming and welcoming. He showed us around our apartment with such pride and it's easy to see why. All the furniture is wooden, including the stairs down to the lower level where the kitchen, 2 extra beds, sitting area and bigger balcony are, making it feel very quaint and cosy. The view from the balconies (one off the bedroom also) over the sea to Agios Nikolaos is spectacular - sunrises and sunsets were both seen. The pool is large and deep and very beautiful, surrounded by lawns and oleander bushes, with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The perfect place to end a day exploring the wonderful Cretan environment.

Perfect location, great host, comfortable parking, magnificient views (!!!). Can’t rate enough. Upon our arrival, we were shocked by getting free upgrade from a small studio to a two-story mansionette with both upper and lower terrace. It was a pleasure to spend our time in this accommodation. The owner was so kind and he even gave us an olive oil from his own production ! We’ll be happy to come back again.

“Quiet place with spectacular views!”

The view was spectacular. Such a quiet spot. Yanis was so nice. The place was comfortable but rustic. So many restaurants and stores nearby. The town of Istro is lovely.

“What a view!!!”

The view from the terrace was amazing, the apartment was good size and equipped with all the necessities. Nice pool area, somewhat remote location but suited us very nicely. Yannis was a very pleasant person to deal with.

The view is simply amazing, the hosts are very warm and lovely people. The flats are spacious, the terrace amazing place. The pool is also a very cool addition if you don’t want to go to the beach. The place is a bit up a hill, so you do need a car if you mind walking, as you might get tired going up. For us this was not a problem. The kitchen is very well equipped, even if we used just the fridge as we preferred trying the taverna’s nearby. We loved that it’s not pretentious, it’s just beautiful place with breathtaking views of the sea and a lot of nice nature around the houses - olive trees, flowers etc. we would love to go back!

The most beautiful view from a balcony I have ever seen in my life. Even from the bed, you can see the endless sea stretching out in front of you. There’s also a lower-level terrace with natural shade, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. The apartment is well-equipped — there was oil, coffee, spices, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The pool overlooks the sea and is surrounded by natural shade, with a shower and enough space to swim properly. The village is very small but charming, with one excellent restaurant, a grocery store, and a gas station — everything you might need

A wonderful place where we loved absolutely everything! We especially want to mention the incredibly polite and hospitable host, Yannis, who was always ready to help with anything we needed. The view from the apartments is one of the best – overlooking the beautiful Voulisma Beach and the nearby bays. The apartment itself has two separate bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen, which was very convenient for us as we cooked our own breakfasts and lunches. The swimming pool was very clean, and both we and the kids really enjoyed it. We will definitely come back to this little paradise again!

The view from the terrace and the swimming pool is fantastic! Quiet location, not far from the supermarket and the restaurants but you need a car. House no 6 ok for 2 or 3 pers. Not more. But ask Yannis - very kind and helpful host!- if you are 4 or 5. They are several size of apartments. Large and very clean swimming pool. We will come back.

“Peaceful and comfortable”

We loved the accommodation and the location. It was exactly what we were looking for. A quiet place to stay for our holidays recharge and relax! Giannis the owner was very helpful and friendly and gave us the best suggestions for the area. We couldn’t be more grateful! A small inconvenience was that the rooms are high on a hill which personally we didn’t mind. We loved how peaceful our room was and the view amazing! The beds were very comfortable and clean sheets and towels! The little kitchen was also very convenient!

The view was spectacular. The pool was wonderful and the surrounding grounds were very comfortable to lie in the shade and read.
