The apartment we rented was excelent. It's close enough (1 hour by car) to the Heraklion airport, and at a driveable distance (30 to 45 minutes by car) to many excelent beaches and small villages. We met our hostess Maria, which was really kind and made it feel like we were staying at a family apartment. We'll definitely come back if we ever come to Crete again.

I can’t praise this place enough. We extended our stay here because it is so special. We stayed in two apartments over five days. In both the facilities are excellent and the furnishings are finished to a superb standard. Both were spotlessly clean, in fact amazingly so. All of the decoration appears brand new as does the equipment in the kitchens. The pool is lovely. Maria and her son are friendly and helpful. There is a small mini market less than five minutes away with a larger supermarket 10 minutes away. A good taverna within walking distance and a beach also 15 minutes walk. Overall amazing value for money.

Maria, the manager of the resort, is a very nice person. Always ready to help. Beautiful view of Istro, the valley full of olives, the mountain and the sea. Nearby is a mini supermarket and a restaurants/bistro/cafe. It is definitely worth having a car.

Now I understand why people are returning to this place many times! The communication with the owner and Maria was superb! We had 2 rooms during our stay - one room and a second villa with a small pool. Both places are perfect. The first room was spotless, refreshed, spacious and very cozy, with a total Greek vibe! Everything worked perfectly. The kitchen is very well equipped with new appliances - toasters/kettle or Nespresso machine! We were working remotely for 2 days and WIFI was excellent! The villa is modern, very comfortable, also well equipped. Mosqutiera's in the windows and doors are genius! And privet terrace with a small whirlpool and sunbeds. Cozy, comfortable, modern, clean, refreshing! The common pool is not huge but big enough to swim around. The complex is very well maintained with beautiful plants and little trees. Maria is so a lovely person, she brought me some figs after I asked if there are any in the area! I will definitely come back there! And on top right in front of the apartments, there is a coffee bar, where you can have your favorite Freddo cappuccino or other regular coffee the whole day! And yes, the apartments are on the hill and if you wanna park up next to your doors, you need to know how to drive up the hill- but come on, it's not a big deal and I believe everyone who passed European B driving license should know how to do that. Otherviews you may park the car down in front of the gate (a lot of parking space).

The deluxe villa is beautiful and of a very high standard. The bathroom is amazing with a LED mirror and a power shower, the beds are so comfortable and there is even a jacuzzi! There are two outside areas with seating with great views and two private sun loungers too. Yiannis and his family really are excellent hosts and make you feel so welcome. We definitely recommend you stay here!
