“Best hotel experience in Istanbul”

The Penthouse room was definitely worth every penny as we probably had one of the best views in Istanbul. Waking up to the call to prayer, being able to see across the busy Bosphorus to some of the key landmarks was stunning and even more so when lit up at night. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was incredibly comfy. The option to have breakfast in your room is a nice touch and as the weather was warm we were able to have it on our terrace. Breakfast downstairs was also not to be missed. The staff we were also lovely and were more than happy to advise. The neighbourhood did not feel touristy and was very buzzy with its many bars and restaurants. It felt more local than other more popular parts of Istanbul, which we loved. The hotel and area was very much a 10/10.

Staff were genuinely great—helped me with a special request related to an important date and a few other things I asked for. Always polite, attentive, and truly customer-focused. I really felt supported the whole time. Breakfast was also very good. Even when I came a bit late or almost missed it, they still made sure I was served every time. The team consistently goes the extra mile to deliver fantastic service.

As regular guests since 2018, our experiences at The Witt have consistently been outstanding. Each visit reaffirms why we keep coming back. From the moment we arrive, the exceptional service greets us like an old friend. The staff remembers us and goes above and beyond to ensure our stay is perfect, making us feel genuinely valued. The rooms are always a delight. Spacious and tastefully decorated, they offer a plush bed that guarantees a restful night's sleep. The attention to detail is impressive, with immaculate cleanliness and modern amenities that make our stay enjoyable. The location of the hotel was another highlight, it is within walking distance of popular attractions (Taksim by foot, Sultanahmed at ease with public transport), plenty of local restaurants, and shopping areas. This made exploring the local culture incredibly convenient. Overall, our experiences at The Witt have been nothing short of fantastic. Great location, quiet area but very close to Taksim Square, shops, cafes and only a 45 minute walk to the Blue Mosque. Staff were all polite.

“Superb hotel and location”

The Penthouse Suite was very comfortable, with a superb view over the Bosphorus. It would be lovely in warmer weather when best use could be made of the terrace areas. There was good wardrobe space, robes and slippers, and a nightly turndown service. It was good to be able to access Netflix on the tv. Breakfast was served in the lobby area, but the tables are well set out each day and the buffet is good, with a good selection of quality fruits, yoghurt, cheeses and turkey ham, plus hot dishes available to order. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect for seeing all the historical sights of Istanbul, being just a short tram ride.

The interior of the property was clean, modern and very comfortable. The room was big, with great views over the city and included all of the necessary amenities. The bathroom was also very clean and comfortable. The hotel has a large terrace on the roof, offering an incredible view of the city. The hotel breakfast was good, offering both local breakfast food and an intercontinental breakfast. Overall, we were very impressed with the hotel and its very welcoming staff. The hotel is located in a very nice neighbourhood with lots of independent restaurants and stores.
