“Warm and comfortable stay in the old city”

The hotel is such a cute accommodation in the old city of Istanbul. You have many cute cafes and places to go nearby. Omar was very friendly and so kind! Definitely recommend this stay.

The staff was incredibly helpfull and kind. We felt like in our home. Qualityprice ratio is amazing. We would come back for sure here. Special mention to Sadik, he was the best with us.

Location was excellent. Just 10 minute walk to Sultan Ahmet mosque and 15 to Topkapi. Hotel overlooks Little Hagia mosque, very nice view but be prepared for very early call to prayer! Omar was responsive, friendly and very helpful

The hotel was so lovely and decorated beautifully. I really loved the location, in walking distance to many lovely restaurants, bars and shops. Staff were very helpful too. Really happy I chose to stay here.

Great location in a quite area but still an easy walk to all the sights - our room was really comfy so much so we overslept on the day of check out - value for money second to none and you still have the little touches like hairdryer, toiletries and a hospitality tray - fantastic restaurant next door that gives you 10% off - just brilliant - would not stay anywhere else if we return to Istanbul - ❤️

We had a basement room. The owner said that it was mentioned (reservation for 3 persons). I didn’t notice it. It was a clean bed with a very very dirty kitchen, as well as the floor. The bathroom was not in a good condition. I made a bad choice based on the reviews

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Nice food places nearby, an easy walk up to Blue Mosque/Hagia Sofia area and transport links, but without feeling by like you were staying right in the hustle and bustle of the touristy area.

“Hotel in the heart of the city”

It's close to all the museums and historical sites. The hotel's cleanliness and decor are magnificent. Everything you need as a tourist is right around you. Ömer was helpful and always there for us throughout our stay. We had breakfast on the terrace on our last day. This place really impressed me.

They carried our luggage upstairs and provided information about the city and the surrounding area. There's a historic mosque across from the hotel. Exploring these streets during a nighttime stroll is thrilling. I highly recommend this hotel and its staff.

A friend recommended this hotel, adorned with flowers outside and located in a quiet, charming neighborhood. It's close to public transportation and within walking distance of tourist attractions. There are many restaurants and markets nearby. We were warmly welcomed and felt like part of the family. Now I have a home in Istanbul ❤️

The first room I was shown had an appalling smell of drains. They moved me to another for the first night. For the second night, when I arrived back at the hotel in the evening, there was no water. It was a problem in the district. And there remained no water until I checked out the next day. The hotel made no effort whatsoever to help me.

I truly loved everything about this hotel. My room had a beautiful view of the mosque, and the hotel itself was perfect. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always attentive. The two restaurants right next to the hotel were amazing as well — great service, very friendly, everything was perfect. The neighborhood is central, convenient, and lively without being noisy. I would definitely come back!

Lovely friendly hotel

I highly recommend the Little Sophia hotel. This was my first time in Istanbul. I chose this hotel for its location and easy access to all the main sites. The hotel is located on a quiet side street, directly in front of a green area and a beautiful quaint mosque. The room was comfortable and clean with all that I needed. (I especially enjoyed the view from my room at night, it was calming and serene) Omar, the owner, was very attentive and kind during my stay. The hotel is located just a short walk away from the Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. I found everything I needed within walking distance: supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants.  As a solo female traveler, I found this neighborhood to be safe and comfortable.  Highly recommended. Thank you, Omar, for your hospitality.
