In this budget its a good option, the room ac & heater both was working. The location was good. Grand baazar was 10-12 minute walking distance and from there you can get on the tram and go to the tourist places.

Property was easy to find. Located by the local street market, not giving tourist vibe which I really like. Make sure to go for a walk at around 9am to see the real local life in the morning. One staff do speak English and the surrounding is totally safe. My room was very clean. Plenty of space in the bathroom to put your bathroom items. Internet was a bit slow for zoom meeting but works for just strolling online. I didn’t understand the bad reviews. Be realistic on your expectations

We recently had the pleasure of staying at otel, and we were truly impressed. The hotel’s central location made it very convenient to explore Istanbul’s historical and touristic attractions. The rooms were exceptionally clean, well-organized, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options. We felt completely at home during our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant experience in Istanbul. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

Staying at this hotel in Fatih was truly an unforgettable experience. Because it's located in Istanbul's historic center, it's easy to reach many important landmarks, including Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, Beyazıt, and the Grand Bazaar. The hotel was also exceptionally clean, and the rooms were comfortable and modern. The staff was very welcoming, ready to help with any issue, and their English communication was excellent. Istanbul offers a comfortable stay, easy access, and excellent value for money. I would like to thank the staff and Laos Hotel.

“Gued”

We stayed for two days and were very satisfied. The room was small but very clean, with fresh linens and no bad smells. The building is old, but the inside is renovated and tidy. The staff were honest and helpful — I even forgot my phone in the room, and they returned it immediately when we called. For this price, finding such a clean and safe place in Istanbul is rare. Perfect for a short stay.

“Unpleasant”

Avoid this place! The room we got was not at the place shown in the pictures — it was a nearby apartment; it seems like unsafe neighbourhood, not suitable for families. The room was dirty and had a strong toilet smell. I told the man at reception that we wanted to leave after one night, and he said okay for a refund for the remaining three nights, so I booked another hotel. But the next day, another person (possibly the owner) refused to refund. We had to leave and lost the money. Not a real hotel, more like a cheap lodge — no tea, dirty utensils. Definitely not recommended for families.
