Exceptional stay – wish we stayed longer! We stayed at Birun Ada Hotel for just one night, and honestly, it was absolutely amazing. Everything exceeded our expectations. The service was outstanding — all the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. You really feel welcomed from the moment you arrive, which made our stay extra special. Many reviews mention this, and it’s 100% true — the team goes above and beyond for guests The food was delicious both at dinner and breakfast — fresh, high-quality, and full of local flavors. We truly enjoyed every meal The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, and located in such a peaceful and unique place. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing — perfect if you want to escape the busy city and just enjoy nature and the views Even though we stayed only one night, we left with such great impressions and would definitely love to come back again for a longer stay. Highly recommended!

“luxury-style”
We stayed at Birun Ada Hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The team communicated with us in advance to make sure we reached the island smoothly using their private ferry, which was very reassuring. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to a beautiful sea-view room. The room was stunning, and waking up to the view of the sea was unforgettable. The food was excellent throughout our stay, and the staff always did their best to accommodate any requests we had. The island itself is beautiful, peaceful, and truly unique. It’s unfortunate that the hotel and the island are not well advertised—many hotel reception staff in Istanbul had never even heard of Birun Ada Hotel, despite being Turkish themselves. This place definitely deserves much more recognition. The manager and all the staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and constantly made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily return.

“All was good .”
Everything ! This is must visit place.Very nice island for resting from Istanbul traffic.Everything is nice from island,history places,hotel,stuff…Big plus is that there is no alcohol here and there is mosque so if you are muslim you will enjoy this place.Its worth visiting . Also big thanks to the main manager who waited for us at check in and Ali who was in contact with me from the start . Also i think for guest of the hotel should be organized some private transfer so you do not need to wait 17:00 pm for return,while good thing is that they let you in the room until that time.The spa was renovating so i did not try that .

“Fabulous hidden gem”
The hotel is beautiful and meticulously clean Our room was fabulous and I don’t believe there is a ‘bad’ room in the hotel with spectacular views all around. Bed was super comfortable and the shower spacious and also so accessible as I have multiple sclerosis so having a seated area in the shower was such a rare treat! The staff are all so kind, welcoming and efficient with special thanks to Sezcen (apologies for spelling 🫤), she could not have done any more for us during our stay. She works so hard to ensure everything is perfect and she more than succeeds . Every member of staff was lovely but a special thanks must go to the chef and kitchen staff who probably don’t get the direct thanks they deserve. I am coeliac and the chef went over and above anything any other hotel has ever done for me, he created a chocolate bombe pudding which was just delicious and I hope he knows how very much I appreciated his kindest and expertise. The gym and pool areas are clean and modern with a full range of equipment. We had a fantastic break from life and our short break felt like we’d spent far longer there as it was just so restful. It is so worth the short boat trip.

The staff hospitality before the arrival in which they have arranged sea taxi since we couldn't make through public transportation. Their warm welcome during and after leaving. The food both dinner and breakfast was delicious. The tour to the museum was special.

Room size is impressive. You find everything you may need. Working table is big. Big shower area with sitting space. Breathtaking see view from the balcony.

“A truly gem of a find.”
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and you can tell it’s only a year or so old. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. Room are magnificent. A short boat ride from the main land ( around 45 minutes). The hotel was virtually empty on our stay. more staff than guests. The hotel is an amazing place if you just want a few nights getting away from it all, as there is really nothing to do other than a little stroll around the island, and maybe sit and read a book with outstanding views. The spa are was nice, but only one (male ) attendant, he is also the masseuse! There is only one restaurant that was open and really any more than a few days and you would have had the entire menu. I really hope the hotel sorts it’s political problems out as I would love to return to this amazing hotel. Thank you to all the staff.

everything is new and clean and the service was great food is good too the staff went to great lengths to help us!! quite literally too, when we forgot the charger at the property, they had an employee return it to us at the Bostanci station they also arranged a sea taxi for us late at night and responded promptly via whatsapp overall experience is a 10/10 if you're not a nightlife type of person nice shower, nice view and comfy gym they take euros, the lira to euro exchange rate is not optimal so don't bother buying liras if you pay cash sea transfers to Bostanci at 9, 17 and something else, the latest ferry to the hotel is at 21, takes 45 minutes to go. the district neighbouring the station is very nice, you might want to visit, some good restaurants and a bunch of clothing stores 100% recommended

“Great island hotel I have ever lived.”
it’s one of my favorite hotel where I have ever live! Whatever the facility,service,sightseeing is worth it,also the price of it is lower that other 5 stars’ hotel in the Istanbul city,although 45 minutes sea boat transport can arrive here but it’s worth it,the island is very beautiful and has three museums.Next time we will back to here for holiday again.
