Location is great. Steps from the Old City, Blue Mosque etc. The host Ahmed is a kindest person, trying to accommodate as much is possible. The breakfast is decent.

While the room could be improved, it certainly has a few of the most important things for a traveler: a location in a neighborhood that feels safe, very comfortable and warm beds with firm, thick mattresses, a hot shower with good water pressure, a good heater that heats the room quickly, delicious and adequate daily breakfasts, proximity to major tourist attractions in Sultanahmet, and a price that reflects the condition of the room. In other words, even though the room is worn, this is already reflected in the price; and even though the room is worn, you will feel quite safe, enjoy hot showers, get a good night's sleep in warm beds, have good breakfasts every day to start the day, and every time you return to this hotel you will pass by and admire the Hippodrome, Sultanahmet Mosque, and Hagia Sophia. When Mr. Ahmet renovates his property, travelers will never again be able to stay in the same location at this price point. My room has a washing machine, which was a huge advantage since we were traveling light. However, there is no dryer. But there is a very powerful hairdryer in the room, and we dried our clothes with it. If this property had been run by a bad manager, they probably would have seen us as a group of travelers looking for cheap rooms, which would have made our stay very unpleasant. Fortunately, the owner, Mr. Ahmet, treated us kindly and respectfully, making us feel welcome and respected. Mr. Ahmet was also polite without being intrusive. This accommodation was good enough for me and my group, as well as for many other travelers. However, if you are particular about room furnishings, this place might not be for you.
