“Really friendly hotel with great staff”

Amazing, friendly staff who did all they could to make the stay a good one. The room had a great view across to the old city. Close to Galata tower so you can quickly be in the heart of the Europa part of the city.

The service was just amazing, the whole team went above and beyond to make sure we not only had a great stay but a wonderful experience in Istanbul. The room itself was great with views of Galata bridge and the breakfast was so delicious, the perfect way to start a day of exploring!

Excellent hotel. Good location, 5 minute walk from Galata Tower, fantastic friendly helpful knowledgeable staff. Excellent variety for breakfast, scrambled eggs upon request. The head of security was purrfect!!!!! he even escorted us to our room one night 😹.

“Can’t wait to stay again!!”

This hotel is an absolute must! It was our first time visiting Turkey for our honeymoon and coming all the way from Australia, we didn't quite know what to expect. Safe to say, our expectations were completely blown out of the water. First of all, the location is incredible. You are right on the doorstep of the Galata Tower and the vibrant Galata neighborhood, with everything within walking distance. You also feel incredibly safe in this area. We didn’t have to catch a taxi at all because it's so accessible. We even walked over to the Hagia Sophia multiple times since it's such a scenic, beautiful walk. The staff were incredibly kind, caring and attentive to our every need, making our trip so memorable. As a cat lover, I also especially loved how warm and caring the team is toward the local animals! The view from our room was spectacular. We could count eight mosques from our balcony and watching the city light up each night was so special. Honestly, photos don’t do justice to how clean, chic and modern the rooms are. To top it off, the breakfast was to die for! The fresh bread with hummus is an absolute must-try. We will definitely be back to Turkey and we will absolutely be staying at Doruk Palas again!

“Great boutique hotel and perfect location with amazing views”

Loved my stay at Doruk Palas.The rooms are modern and good size with a good size bathroom, comfortable bed, free water which was great and amazing views over the Golden Horn towards Sultanahmat. Also super close to metro and easy walk to lots of restaurants and places around Galata and Karakoy. And the staff are super friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious

Our stay at Doruk Palas Hotel was truly unforgettable and one of the warmest hotel experiences I have ever had. The staff is absolutely wonderful — incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming people who make you feel like part of a family from the very first moment. They are always ready to help with anything immediately, always have a kind word for you, and genuinely make you feel wanted and appreciated. I have traveled to many countries and stayed in highly rated hotels, but nowhere else have I ever felt this emotionally close to the staff. Being there honestly felt like the warmth of home. We had so many lovely conversations and shared beautiful moments whenever we had the chance. Every single person there is amazing, starting with the manager, who is a truly exceptional man — always smiling, helpful, and full of positive energy. A very special mention goes to the wonderful Nazanin: beautiful, intelligent, incredibly kind, and someone who will always remain in my heart. ❤️ The gentlemen at the reception and the entire staff are professional, pleasant, and make everything run perfectly. And of course, the housekeeping ladies also deserve the highest praise for their incredible work. Hats off to every single one of them! ❤️🥰😘 The rooms are clean, cozy, modern, and equipped with everything you may need for a comfortable stay. What impressed us even more was the impeccable cleanliness — every single day the towels were changed, the room was thoroughly cleaned, including the floors being washed, and even the bed sheets were changed regularly. Everything was maintained to the highest standard, and you could truly feel the care and attention to detail. The breakfast is excellent — varied, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Thank you for making our stay so special. We will never forget the warmth and care we received at Doruk Palas, and we truly hope to come back again someday! 💝

“Felt like home”

Cosy and sympathetic hotel with excellent service in a strategic location.

The hotel is located near the Galata Tower. The view from the room is amazing almost the same view you get from the top of the tower itself. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the amazing team: Bilal, Hassan and Mahmoud. They took great care of us and truly made us feel at home. The hotel is super clean, the room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The team was always available to answer our inquiries and support us with helpful tips and recommendations.

“Very beautiful place, nice staff, very good breakfast and cht cats”

The hotel is fantastic. The location is great, and the staff and the family are incredibly friendly and always ready to help with advice and support. The rooms offer a wonderful view over the Golden Horn. The breakfast is also excellent. The (secret) stars, however, are the two cats, Princess and Mr. Osman (who also happens to be the house’s head of security 😉). He welcomes you and even escorts you to your room, sometimes staying for a little nap. Occasionally, he’ll wake you up during his morning rounds, loudly asking to be let in—only to curl up after a quick inspection and get some sleep. A wonderful place - we would happily return anytime

“Relaxing Istanbul”

Central location with an amazing view over the sea and Fatih area. The hotel is a family business with wonderful and friendly staff (including cats, of course! ☺️). Tasty breakfast with sour and sweet options, not forgetting the Turkish tea.

The staff made us feel at home from the moment we stepped into Doruk Hotel. They were warm, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. The room had all the amenities we needed and exceeded our expectations. The area was safe and quiet, highly recommended! I also loved the buffet breakfast, with both sweet and savory traditional Turkish options.

“The perfect, value for money, boutique hotel in Istanbul”

We stayed at the Doruk Palace Hotel for 5 days during our first trip to Istanbul, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The hotel is clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect, close to Galata Tower and the metro, yet still very quiet. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a rooftop suite, and the view was breathtaking, we didn’t want to leave our balcony! They provided us with free bottled water every day, and the room was spotless each time. What truly makes this hotel special, though, is the staff (cats included!). Bilal and the rest of the team were some of the kindest and most accommodating people we’ve ever met at a hotel. We had a little chat every time we headed out, and he gave us the best tips for our trip. One thing is certain: the next time we visit Istanbul, we won’t need to look for another hotel, we’ve already found the one. Thank you for everything, and we hope to see you again soon!
