Overview
Located in the heart of Old Istanbul, in a 19th-century Ottoman house, Dersaadet Hotel Istanbul is within a walking distance to historical sites like Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Museum. It is also very close to the tram station, which provides direct access to central locations of the city. Air-conditioned property offers a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, slippers and free toiletries. Flat-screen satellite TV, minibar and electric kettle are also equipped. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. You can start the day with a rich breakfast provided by the property. You can also enjoy lunch and dinner at the Terrace Café offering stunning views of the Blue Mosque. A 24-hour front desk provides luggage storage and room service. The staff also helps the guest for dry cleaning and ironing services as well as car rentals and airport shuttle services. Istanbul Airport is around 40 km away. It was in a fabulous location and the staff were professional, helpful and very friendly. The hotel was full of character and had great view of the water and Blue Mosque from the rooftop terrace where we had breakfast.

Staff were friendly and helpful, pre arrival communication was great including airport transfer organisation. Location is great for the Sultahnamet historical sights. It's a cute hotel, not trying to be super luxury, just a simple sweet place to stay.

Slightly old fashioned but beautiful and it had air-con. Fabulous location and the roof terrace for breakfast was perfect. The staff was extremely helpful, the breakfast was delicious.

Second visit after 15 years, good quality and hospitality (every staff, kind, helpful and knowledgeable) of the hotel is the same or better! Breakfast at the roomtop area with the sea view, and well prepared and very tasty Turkish style breakfast.

“An oasis of peace and beauty.”
The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and they thought of our needs even before we did. The hotel is decorated traditionally and located in the old town very close to Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Haga Sophia.

“Brilliantly located hotel with excellent breakfast”
The location for this hotel is fantastic for exploring the historical centre of Istanbul. The staff are very helpful and an apple tea on arrival is very welcome. The breakfast is absolutely delicious - the choice is great, with variations daily and the scrambled egg is the best I have ever eaten in a hotel. The rooms are comfortable and compact and the WiFi signal good. The restaurants nearby are expensive compared with eating on the Asian side, and the nearer you are the the Blue Mosque the higher the price. We were given a very good recommendation by the staff for a place with great food nearby. We would really recommend staying here and it is great value for money
