“Great overnight stop in Issoire”

Excellent location with shops and bars close by, parking immediately opposite. Well equipped, good shower and proper towels. Really like that access is via key safes so no need to coordinate times with the owner. Very good communication from the owner.

The location was very central, parking was easy and the apartment was ideal for a stop over. Communication was good, the instructions for check in were easy to follow and the apartment was very clean. On the third floor which may make it difficult for some travellers.

Although realised was on 3rd floor, it was up 54 winding terracotta tiled stairs. The property had been done up but was showing wear and tear. My husband cut his foot open on a door fitting/ threshold that was not fitted flush. The towels and bathroom mat were old and worn, the bedding was also old and had not been ironed. The pillows were uncomfortably high, more like floor cushions. The bed was a small 4’ bed and had layers over the mattress.I didn’t think having to vacate the property by 10 am made sense, is it meant just for the bed? If so why clutter it with unnecessary stuff? I wouldn’t recommend it to friends.

comfortable apartment in an easily accessible location. Aldi was a few minutes by car. Located at city centre so made exploring by foot possible.

The apartment block is in a fairly central location, opposite the war memorial and the large car park around it, so parking is usually easy (except of Armistice Day). Instructions for accessing were clear and the good-sized main room had a well-equipped kitchenette, a breakfast bar with bar stools and a sofa with low tables. The bedroom was separate as was the good bathroom. There is a Monoprix within easy walking distance and several bars 5-10 minutes away on foot. We enjoyed a drink in the pleasant covered outside area of the Bar L'annexe.
