“Perfect stay at a lovely place with a great host”

The host was super friendly, the apartment was nice and peaceful and the garden really fantastic. Roberto is a super host, when returning in the evening to the apartment, we found small gifts in front of our door (eggs, vegetables from the garden). We enjoyed a lot staying at „La Casa dei Nonni“ and were really sad when we had to leave.

The hosts - papa Giovanni and all the family Trasatti - are exceptionally very friendly and helpful, they really took care of us like grandparents (i nonni) do. Starting from check-in, they were patient to wait for us till after midnight due to our flight delay and we found a nice welcome drink on the table; during our entire stay they were ready to instantly answer our questions; when we encountered a problem with our car, they assisted us to manage a car-repair service in the village within an hour. And we never forget the farewell chat with them in the garden drinking vino cotto. The house is located at the calm end of a small town, just below the ridge of south-east Appennino abruzzese - you can enjoy the view of the mountains from the garden that is, by the way, equipped beyond expectations (gridiron, vine-roofed table, small pool, small climbing wall... ;-). And Campo Imperatore and Corno Grande are within easy reach, 30-45 mins of drive. The apartment we lived in is very comfortable for 2-3 people. Thanks a lot, Mr. and Mrs. Trasatti, you made our first visit to Abruzzo an extraordinary experience.

The hosts Giovanni and family were extremely friendly and helpful. We got great tips for excursions in the surroundings with very detailed maps and indications. Also restaurant recommendations were spot on and we tried many local specialties. The apartment was cosy and functional with a nice garden with view of the mountains.

The owners have thought of absolutely everything, the cosy apartment was extremely well equipped. The garden, day or night was fantastic with full on views of the very close mountains, which had snow covered tops, breathtaking really. Directions and accompanying video were an excellent idea as the actual turn off was easy to miss first time around. Agriturismo was a two minute walk. Plenty of secure parking. Owners were very accessible and welcoming. A magical spot!
