There was a fireplace and staff brought the wood and lit it up. Other than that the heater was not working very well and the rooms were pretty cold.

Excellent place with well maintained garden & play areas. Awesome breakfast & food at their restaurant. Family rooms are super comfortable and have great value for money. I would highly recommend staying at this place rather than staying at Gabala as it is easy to commute to Lahic village & Gabala from here. Kudos to Bakhtiyar, who tried his best to communicate with us despite the language barrier.

Unclean rooms, filled with spiders and incest. Staff were so lazy, no refrigerator and wrong location on maps, we needed to ask police for directions. Breakfast was so poor.

My journey began with a scenic three-hour drive from Baku to the peaceful town of İsmayıllı. Nestled in a quiet area with little to do, this region is best suited for a single-night visit—perfect for those traveling through Azerbaijan. Stepping into the hotel, I was greeted warmly by the manager, Mr. Azhar, whose hospitality set the tone for a memorable stay. He welcomed me with care, ensuring that the room was fully ready before I checked in, complete with water, towels, and amenities. The property has a serene view of fruit trees and garden space—a lovely spot to unwind. Tea here was unmatched—I believe it was the best I had in all of Azerbaijan, served with genuine warmth and care (a hallmark of Azerbaijani tea culture) The food was phenomenal, with a menu that was reasonably priced and simply delicious. Breakfast was a standout highlight: fresh, escorted by excellent service, and tailored to my requests. The breakfast setting was idyllic—serene, peaceful, and visually stunning, overlooking their garden and fruit trees. Breakfast was one of the freshest i tasted in my whole trip. The manager even called me a taxi to go to the town, an incredibly helpful gesture. Despite everything closing by 8 pm—because it’s a small town—my stay felt relaxing and peaceful, fully supported by attentive hospitality. I would love to visit one day again for sure.

Lovely welcome from the manager and staff. We were treated like royalty and felt very much at home and relaxed. Beautiful dining area and the food was exceptional. Our mini house was lovely and well equipped. We loved the vibe from this place.

The manager was super nice and the place is surrounded by nature and very cosy. The house itself was clean and bed comfortable. It has nice parking for the car.

I stayed here for a night and everything is great. Anar is really helpful with everything. I requested tomato eggs for breakfast, and he and the staff made it for me. I had a great time.

One of the best place we stayed at during our trip to Azerbaijan! The owner of the hotel was extremely friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival, he kindly upgraded our room to a larger one, which was a wonderful surprise. Later, he invited us to enjoy complimentary tea served from a traditional samovar—a truly authentic and memorable experience. He clearly cares about every detail, which made our stay feel special and charming. As a thoughtful gesture, he even gifted us a traditional Azerbaijani figurine that we absolutely loved—though unfortunately, we accidentally left it behind in the room. We need to collect it once we will be back! The traditional breakfast served was one of the best we had in Azerbaijan—delicious, fresh, and full of local flavors. We highly recommend Meshul to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for your warm hospitality!
