Overview
Offering views of Isla Bay from its beachside setting, Alfar Hotel features rooms with balconies. Each room at the Alfar has simple décor with wooden floors. A very nice hotel, overlooking the beach. Good size room and bathroom. An average breakfast, but it was plentiful. Plenty of local bars and restaurants within walking distance. Excellent value for money, would recommend the hotel.

“Fantastic location in Isla.”
The location right on the beach was exceptional and free parking was a bonus. We requested a sea facing room with balcony and that was perfect. The room was itself spacious with a good sized bathroom, but pretty spartan. The breakfast was self-service and fine with regularly replenished meats and cheese, as well as fruit and pastries.

“Excellent service and location for a perfect seaside stay”
Wonderful hotel and staff are the highlight. Clean rooms, spotless and comfortable. Great breakfast and the location is incredible in Isla. Couldn’t ask for a better spot. Strongly recommend the afternoon on the hotel’s terrace to have a cool refreshments. The best, friendliest and most efficient service I have experienced in Spain.

Very helpful staff. Great location next to the beach and sea. Large bedroom with comfortable beds. Wonderful meals in the restaurant. Free parking and WiFi. Ideal for visiting all the beaches in the area. 40 minutes from Santander!

Lovely sea (and tree) view, good size balcony with table and chairs. Secure parking on site. Really comfortable beds with high quality linen. Included high quality pastries at breakfast. Really good fixed price lunch included a whole bottle of wine for two. Great location - just a few steps to the beach. Really friendly and helpful staff, many thanks.

“Great hotel, smallish town, we visited in October but the weather was good.”
We expected a cooked breakfast. It was described as buffet but it was Continental……. Maybe lost in translation but that’s the (minor) down. Otherwise everything was excellent.
