“Extremely Disappointing Stay – Theft and No Accountability”

I stayed at this hotel with my family in mid-June 2025 and, unfortunately, had a deeply upsetting experience that I feel compelled to share publicly. During our stay, a sum of money was stolen directly from the safe in our room. I always store my cash there, and one day I noticed part of it had disappeared. I reported the incident immediately, expecting a professional investigation. Instead, the hotel’s response was completely unsatisfactory. I was told they would look into it and get back to me after speaking with the staff who had accessed our room. They never contacted me again. No follow-up. No explanation. No accountability. This is absolutely unacceptable — especially from a hotel that claims to be five stars. As someone who values and contributes to online reviews, I believe it’s essential we help each other make informed decisions. Just as I rely on reviews when choosing a hotel, I hope mine will help others be cautious and fully aware of what to expect. Aside from the theft, I must be honest: this is not a five-star hotel in any real sense. Anyone who has stayed at a true five-star property will notice the difference immediately. What you’re really paying for here is the view — and nothing else. • The food is average at best. • Facilities are very basic, with many areas poorly maintained. • Amenities are extremely limited — some don’t even exist. • Staff experience is inconsistent: some were kind and helpful, while others were disengaged or unwilling to assist. • The overall state of the hotel reflects neglect and a serious lack of upkeep. I will never return, and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you value your belongings, your peace of mind, and a truly high-quality experience — look elsewhere.

“Amazing stay!”

We had a wonderful time! We absolutely loved the beach, and my teenage daughter spent hours enjoying the sea. The food was great, and we made a reservation at one of the on-site restaurants, which turned out to be excellent. What we appreciated most about the hotel was that it wasn’t crowded — it was peaceful and quiet, just the way we like it. The staff were all very friendly and always willing to help. We would definitely book again!

“A good place for your 1st visit to Isla Mujeres”

The location is spectacular overlooking the most beautiful beach on Isla Mujeres with several beach clubs nearby. The hotel itself is clean and agreeable if a little dated. The hotel restaurants are okay rather than great, however there are many great restaurants just a short walk into town.

The natural beauty of the beach

You can't beat the location. The beaches are spectacular. The staff was great, they were very hard working and they took great care of us. The daily activities were fun and brought the guests together which was special. I enjoyed the food very much. There is the main buffet which had a great variety of foods. Nobody in our group had any food sickness and we ate the fruits and salads and buffet. There were also 2 restaurants and we ate at both. The food and service was very good.

The resort setting is beautiful, and the beach. Most staff were friendly.

“Magnificent location”

The essence of this hotel revolves around its prime location. Situated on a small island connected to Isla Mujeres by a bridge, it offers breathtaking beaches, stunning sunsets, and crystal-clear waters. The dinner offered delicious food, and a must-visit spot is the chevicheria.

The resort setting is beautiful, and the beach. Most staff were friendly.

“Badly maintained hotel on a nice beach”

The beach by the hotel is beautiful, maybe the best on Isla Mujeres. Especially early morning before the crowds of tourists arrive you can have it for yourself. It is great for kids. The food in the restaurant is tasty.

LOVED the location! Could not find a better location that this! The beaches are beautiful! The bed was comfy. A/C in the rom was good. Most staff were friendly and helpful.
