Owners Maria & Jose very friendly & helpful. Property quiet & away from noisy resort hotels. Jose does an interesting canoe tour through the laguna & mangrove wetlands. Jose also drove me to the boat pier so I was on time for pick-up @ 1330hrs.

The tranquility

Attentive hosts always on hand if need help. Very basic facilities to be expected as it’s an eco hostel on a small island. Not from the centre where there’s restaurants and a supermarket. Also close to la playita for relaxing at

Good hotel far away from the turists - It's a walk to the beach, but not very long, so it's a non issue. The owner is very helpful and will assist you with anything!

A super chill spot surrounded by nature, just a short walk from the main village in Orika. Had an amazing time spear fishing with Jose and checking out the glowing plankton at night. Jose and Maria were so friendly and welcoming, and Maria’s food was awesome!

I had a wonderful time at Las Flores. Maria y José are wonderful people. I did 3 Tours with José, snorkeling, Mangroves and Plankton. I ate several times diner and everyday breakfast. I really love the lentils from Maria. It was always great. She always asked what I liked and cooked vegetarian meals for me. Oh and the sweet little Flóra, who always laughs and talks. Muchas gracias por todos Maria y José

“Good, clean accommodation. Lovely family and tour.”

Weren’t really sure what to expect but we were impressed with the accommodation, we were upgraded to a nice bungalow, it was very clean and new. We were given mosquito nets when we asked. The family were really lovely and patient with our limited Spanish. We loved the snorkelling tour with Jose and his grandson!

The location is a bit challenging. It's in the interior of the island and you must walk a bit to get to the beaches. The positive thing is that you will see the native culture which exists here. If you stay at a beach place, you'll probably never see how the natives live.

Very friendly hosts, lovely location very close to the small village and smaller beaches :) The hosts offer day trips as well as dinner - highly recommended!
