This was a fantastic highlight of our holiday. We loved the energy and concept of Centro Ubuntu, and all the staff made our family feel welcome. They assisted us with coordinating transportation to the island, and the drivers were kind and very reliable. I enjoyed the food, and most of all, there were great activities for the family. It is the perfect place to disconnect and relax—a lovely paradise to be discovered.

Highly recommend staying here. The hosts and staff were lovely and very knowledgeable and the place is very tranquil. There’s a small beach you can swim in the sea and snorkel. We did some excursions with Filip and he was fab. We went with our 5 year old who made friends with some local Kids and really loved it too. Definitely go to the island and definitely stay here! :)

We enjoyed our stay at Centro Ubuntu. The location is ideal with private beach access just a few steps from the room. The cabaña was clean, comfortable and well equipped with mosquito nets, towels etc. The restaurant on site makes tasty food and has some Vegetarian options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were given a nice welcome, detailed insights on Ubuntu and the island and the possibility to book activities. We were also kindly allowed to leave our luggage before and after check in.

“A place to detox and rewind.”

This is the place to relax. It’s not posh but it is authentic. We lived the fact that there was a kindergarten as well. The staff are friendly and helpful. Sebastian was fantastic. Loved our trips especially snorkelling.

Ubuntu is a really special place. The location is gorgeous with beautiful views of the sea, a lovely deck for sunbathing, a small private beach to get in the water and lots of eco-friendly activities. We enjoyed spontaneously seeing the luminescent plankton at night! The team and staff are all very friendly and helpful. Delicious food too! Our room was comfortable with fans and mosquito nets, a porch with a hammock and seating and a wonderful outdoor shower.

Nice place and quiet. Some people of the staff were very friendly, like the guy who helped us with the luggage at our arrival and the ladies in the kitchen. The room was nice and clean with a nice view.

We had an incredible stay at this eco hotel—a truly rustic and off-the-beaten-path gem that was exactly what we were looking for. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendliest staff. A special shout out to the amazing kitchen ladies who were so kind and patient with our Spanish, we enjoyed the tasty food. But the real star of the show was Carolina. We honestly can’t put into words how fantastic she was. She knew all the best local activities, booked them for us with trusted guides at great rates, and her passion for the island and its conservation was infectious. She really helped us understand the magic behind this beautiful place. The snorkelling, both in the coral reef and with the bioluminescent plankton was unforgettable. We also snorkelled off the small private beach and there were loads of fish to observe. Our accommodation was super comfortable with a strong fan that kept us cool at night, and we loved relaxing in our hammock, on the deck chairs, or in the relaxing communal places. The island itself is quite rural and underdeveloped however this hotel felt like a true slice of paradise. We had a great time!

Beautifully located by the sea, Ubuntu has a subtle luxury that can be appreciated by nature lovers. It’s low key friendly atmosphere made us feel very comfortable straight away. Of course sleeping just a few meters from the sea in good beds and crisp linen also helped. 😀

Our stay was fantastic and the location is beautiful! All of the staff were lovely. Carolina is a brilliant host from start to finish, organised our transfers and helped with booking our tours. Perfect place to stay for some tranquillity and peace.
