“Good hotel with a beautifull natural pool, and amazing personnel!”
Booked 4 nights at Cocotal, it was a good location with a beautifull vieuw. The personel was amazing! Very good people who care for the people and work hard. Good service! The place was comfortable and the food was excellent! The room was normal and could be better, but for an island it is okay. Many thanks to the people working here for the amazing service.

“A great weekend on Isla Grande at Cocotel”
Great location right on the beach. We snorkelled right outside the hotel and saw a lot of colourful fish. The owners were really nice people and super helpful they went above and beyond. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean and the AC was very cold. The food there was also really good and the restaurant staff were very friendly.

“Avoid at all costs”
It's dog friendly and there was a sweet little puppy. Nice calm water good for paddle boarding.

“Very nice hotel at Isla Grande, Colón”
We are very grateful for all the attention and care we received in Isla Grande, Colón – Panama. The Staff was amazing and did all their utmost to provide us with the best experience. The room was also very nice and spacious, with even 2 beds. The food was also very tasty, both at breakfast and lunchtime. Very much recommended.

“Tranquility, calming sea and good food. Book the Deluxe room!”
We enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed in the Deluxe room, which is on the pier, surrounded by the sea, and has hot water in the shower. Every morning, the beautiful sew view was a great way to start the day. The constant sound of the sea (water) was very relaxing. We loved the fish and seafood dishes in the hotel restaurant. Great quality! Breakfast was very good too. The staff was very friendly, and the owner made a big (and successful) effort to make us feel welcome. We booked an airport transfer through the hotel. The owner himself picked us up at the airport, and brought us to the hotel. On the way, he asked what our favorite cocktails are; and upon arrival at the hotel, we were served these cocktails. Very welcoming! The WiFi worked well too. The island itself is primarily a vacation destination for Panamanians, more than foreigners. This gives an authentic vibe. As opposed to some review comments of earlier guests, we found that the hotel is clean.

“Beachfront hotel serving very good food”
The hotel has a private beach and offer very good food. I got a room with a sea view, recommend, big and comfortable. I just loved this place, very peaceful and relaxing. If you are coming during the week, you might be the only guest, if you are lucky, and enjoy the beautiful beaches and walking around the island without founding too many people.

“Do not book hotel cocotal, please”
Nothing, it was a nightmare this hotel. SO DIRTY, UNCOMFORTABLE AND WITHOUT HOT WATER. If you hesitate to choose this hotel, Just forget it! 100 us dollars is a steal! The room are small, ugly and without a safe The price should be under 35 us dollars, I'm serious.
