The host Ikumi was absolutely exceptional. Not only was she very proactive and helpful before the arrival, she also offered us to help book activities if we wanted and once we had issues with our flight being canceled, she helped us take care of the rental car, made time for us the next morning instead and explained everything to us in detail. The house itself was really nice too, enough space for everyone, comfortable furniture and cozy decorations. Despite it being surrounded by the jungle, the inside was really clean and there weren‘t any insects. The kitchen was full of seasonings and the fridge full of condiments, so you don‘t even need to buy stuff if you plan to use the barbecue or kitchen. We couldn‘t ask for more!

This house is absolutely gorgeous- we loved it. Perfectly equipped with almost everything you could expect - kitchen - towels - beach shoes…. Superb! . A tiny path leads to a wonderful beach. Staff super friendly and helpful. One of the best stays we ever had.

“Amazing Stay at Yoisama House!”

We had an incredible time at Yoisama House! The location was perfect – peaceful and convenient, with a private path to a beautiful, uncrowded beach. We loved how much equipment was provided, from snorkeling gear to everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-maintained, offering more than enough room for everyone. The snorkeling options nearby were fantastic, adding a touch of adventure to our trip. A special mention to the host, who was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and hospitality really stood out. We highly recommend Yoisama House and would love to stay again in the future!

Great location, beautiful chalet with all facilities and very comprehensively stocked up. Ikumi is a fantastic hostess who was helpful, very kind, charming and always ready to help us when we needed to book places. We were unlucky with the weather but despite this we enjoyed the beach which is only a few metres from the house and the beautiful scenery. Ishigaki and Yoisima are definitely places we would like to return to.

“Living in a movie/dream”

Location seems to be in a dream. Close to the main road but in the jungle. No neighbors, almost a private beach 1 mins walking. Ikumi is such a gem, such a wonderful host that took care of us as anyone else in my life. Gave us all tips instructions and helping in any issue I could have. If want live in a dream please book here no doubts. Also has everything for kids, snorkeling and a small basket court

“AMAZING stay with GREAT amenities”

Property has 3 rooms, full kitchen and dining space with tv. The kitchen has a lot of condiments such as oil, salt, sauces etc. The pillows and beds were very comfortable and each room had an aircon (thank god!). The house comes with great amenities such as washer/dryer, bbq, snorkels, flippers, beach towels, canoes, life jackets, sunscreen, balls, baseball mits etc. that were free to use. It was perfect for us as we used the snorkels and flippers! You can take a short walk through the bush to your own private beach. We tried to canoe but winds were too strong and the owner said there are usually sea turtles around in the morning. We also saw fireflies at night ! There’s lots of birds and wildlife around. The household gecko might pop by and say hi. The location was great as it was inbetween the south and north of the island so destinations weren’t too far of a drive from the house. The sister house ‘sunset beach house’ I believe is more new and bigger judging by the photos so next time we’d like to stay there!

The location is fantastic if you want a quiet, relaxing trip. The beach is a 1 minute walk through a jungle like path with loads of wildlife. We saw owls at night and tropical birds in the day. The front yard has tropical flowers and banana plants with neatly trimmed grass. The house itself is a log construction but professionally built. I wondered how clean it could be inside being a wooden house in a tropical climate, but we were very impressed. It is kept very clean inside throughout, the bathroom and toilet were spotless when we arrived. The kitchen, living area, and bedrooms are also very well kept and clean. There are some snorkels and fins for swimming which are free to use. The snorkeling off the beach at the back of the house is very good with many species of tropical fish. There are better snorkeling spots on Ishigaki, but this is still great, and it's in the back garden of the house! Finally, the host who greeted us when we arrived was very enthusiastic, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. She set the tone for our time on Ishigaki, which was brilliant from start to finish. Will definitely be coming back.

Superb location off the ring road but amongst the trees and next to the beach. Large, well equipped and comfortable house with everything you may need.

The sunrise beach house is a magical place, the house was kitted out with everything you could need, the kitchen was full of equipment and there was fun equipment to use from flippers and snorkels, canoes and an amazing BBQ. The walk through the ‘jungle’ to the the beach was so special and we only saw 2 other people there the whole time.
