Situated just a 5-minute walk from Ishigaki Port, Vessel Hotel Ishigakijima provides comfortable accommodation featuring free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking. Excellent location, very welcoming staff. Yamamoto was very kind to us on check in. The hotel has great amenities, and the rooms are very spacious. Great access to both the city and the bus and ferry terminal.

This is solid Japanese business hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms as well as the breakfast options. Staff was very welcoming and very efficient.

“Recommended Japanese quality.”
Large clean rooms with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Great breakfast menu. The hotel mainly caters to Japanese nationals but English signs are everywhere throughout the hotel. Airconditioning did the job. Friendly staff and free drinks in the afternoon. All in all great value for money.

“A very pleasant stay but also with room for improvement”
It was very nice that the hotel had free parking on-site. This is important as most tourists rent a car when they visit Ishigaki. The location is also great. Just a 10 minute walk from the center (even less depending on where you are heading to in the center). I should note here that during the night, when one comes back from the city center, the street in the last block is a bit dark and not well lit, but overall I did not feel insecure. Furthermore, I should add that the breakfast was very decent and with good quality coffee too. And last but not least, they do provide beach towels, which was very convenient, when you go to a beach most of your days there!

“Very nice breakfast and comfortable stay for good night rest, near the harbour port!”
Fantastic comfortable stay with great breakfast, it was so nice on the island, we extended our stay! Also near harbour port, shopping center en central busstation. Also very quiet in the evening for a good night sleep, with many handy facilities as bike rental, laundry machines, free water refill, toiletries, etc. Friendly and helpful reception who try to help you in English.

“Fantastic comfortable stay and great breakfast near harbour port and city center”
Fantastic comfortable stay and very nice breakfast with lots of local okinawan dishes. Friendly staff even if its difficult to speak English, they are very helpful and kind. We liked the island Ishigaki a lot so we extended our stay for 2 more days and wish we could stay longer :). Location was also easy to walk to the harbour, central bus station and city center. Would come back again!

“Excellent stay”
Location is very good, couple of minutes work to bus terminal and ferry port. Lots of restaurants are within walking distance too. Staffs are friendly, I asked the front desk staff to help book the tour for Taketomi island water buffalo and quickly it's done in less than 5 minutes. Breakfast is good with all local flavor. Blue Seal ice cream is also provided!!!
