Staff is so friendly. Public area are comfortable. Have Refrigerator( ice-making function）,bathroom (Shampoo.shower gel) You Just need to prepare own towel, have washer, terrace. IF you want to dine together, Write your name up on the whiteboard before 5pm, Just 1000 JPY , Staff will prepare dinner at 8pm . I really feel at home here.

Kind and very clean hostel with lovely owner

The staff, Leona, is super friendly and runs the place very good. It has a supermarket right in front with fresh sushi and the hostel has a kitchen so you can cook.

it is friendly hostel. It provides dinner options for guests to sign up if they have no idea about what to eat for the dinner. Also, it has snorkeling or diving tools for renting.

“Affordable, comfortable and homey stay in Ishigaki!”

It had many conveniences like: entrance on ground level, bus stop within 25m, grocery store within 25m, area to hang wet clothes/ towels, in case of rain there is a laundromat within 100m, kitchen, toilets with bidet and two showers. Best of all, amazing atmosphere, staff is very helpful and nice! Eating dinner together Friday night was very enjoyable!

The host (Matsu) is very nice. He helped us call restaurants and gave us tips about the island. The facilities are clean and the rooms are cute. There is a nice terrace as well and you can rent snorkel gear/bicycles. They always cook dinner together in the evening so I’d recommend if you go there to keep some time for that!

Lovely, welcoming and sociable stay, Joined in on a few group meals which were expertly cooked by Miwa and Co, very nice and fun. Rent bikes and snorkelling gear from the property which was ideal. All round perfect Guest House experience

The owner is super friendly and made me feel very welcomed. It has a kitchen to prepare your own meals. The location is great! The airport bus stop is just outside and a well assorted supermarket just in front. And just 15 minutes walking to the center. Very very basic but clean, ok for one night, I had an overnight connection to Yonaguni.

Very easy check-in, well equipped and very friendly staff. Miwa made us feel very welcomed to Ishigaki. If you like to share moments with other people in a confortable guest house, Matsukaze is highly recommended.

Very rare that I give a 10 out of 10 but the hostel was incredible. The owners joined us for drinks and food in the common area every night and not only brought us together but also created a laugh and fun environment. The location is great, the hostel is as clean as can be, air con was at a great temperature, showers were spot on
