“Great value! Super sweet owner. Would come back!”

The lady who I think owns it was so sweet! She baked fresh bread everyday which was delicious. And helped me to get a taxi to pick me up to go to the airport. The air con unit was also a heater and dehumidifier which was very helpful. The beds although single beds, were so comfortable I got a great night sleep. I could borrow umbrellas. Just be sure to let the lady know when you’ll arrive because reception isn’t as you’d expect and the lady might not be there when you arrive.

Perfect hotel, close to the ferry and bus terminal (airport service), close to the restaurants whilst being in a calm area. A few meters from a car rental agency (be prepared with an international driving licence or a Japanese translation of your national one). I've enjoyed every minute of my stay there, and I also highly recommend it as a solo female traveller. I will stay here again when I'm back in Ishigaki.

“Perfect stay”

The hotel was really nice — the room had everything you need. It was extremely clean, and fresh towels were provided every day. Narita-san was such lovely, always smiling and with a real talent for baking delicious bread. The hotel has a warm, family-like atmosphere. I felt very comfortable and can highly recommend it.

Best breakfast on my trip, the baked ham roll was DELICIOUS!x

“Olive hotel very good stay”

Lady Owner is very nice and helpful. Excellent location 2 mins to bus terminal and 5 mins to port. Euglenda mall and market is 5 mins walk. Nearby has lots of good eateries. Shopping district is along the hotel and opposite side of road.

Perfect Location. The bus terminal is just across the hotel. The ferry terminal, and restaurants are within 3 minutes walking distance. The hotel has a space to wash and dry equipment, which makes water sport enthusiasts' life easier. Very friendly owner.

The host was exceptionally considerate, the inhouse-made freshly baked goods for breakfast were amazing. The location is most convenient next to the bus and ferry terminal, in walking distance to the city's center. The room was nice, clean and rather spacious.

The room was not very pleasant with a small window opening on a staircase, very poor daylight.

Great loacation just few steps from ferry terminal. very convenient when you plan to visit islands, very close to bus terminal if you want to explore Ishigaki by bus, amazing breakfast - various kinds of home-made bread ( sweet and salty ), lots of restaurants in the surrounding area

“Wonderful place close to town”

Narita-San is an excellent host - very kind woman. Location was excellent and free to come and go as you please very close to the port and nightlife and places to eat

“Perfect for a solo female traveler”

This property is a solo female traveler's dream come true. The owner Narita was very kind and accommodating, and her homemade buns and coffee for breakfast were excellent. My room was so quiet that I thought I was the only guest! I chose room 305 which had two single beds and a view of the port. It was very clean. The location is excellent- quite literally a two minute walk from the port, where you get dropped off by the airport bus and can access ferries to the other islands. Shopping and restaurants are right across the street. Excellent value for my travel dollar and I felt totally safe and secure being there on my own

Very convenient little hotel next to the port and bus station. Very clean with washing machine available. Host and hostess very helpful, providing take away breakfast as we left on the early ferry. Would stay again.

The location was perfect, and the room was cosy and clean. It wasn't noisy, but it's located right by the ferry port, and by the last/first stop of the bus terminal, where you can get the Airport Bus. Also, right by the busy shopping and food areas. Was given the option to have room cleaning but wanted to remain green. Narita, the host, is lovely. She does her best to speak English, but it's best you're clear with her she will do her best to help you. During my stay there was a typhoon, Narita went out of her way to help me even though it was a burden (I'm sure). Its a Guest House not a Hotel so the requirements are a little different.
