Overview
Located right on the waterfront, Hotel East China Sea offers Japanese-style and Western rooms with a private terrace overlooking the blue ocean waters. It features a buffet restaurant, a drying room for diving gear and free Wi-Fi. The East China Sea Hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the Ferry Terminal and the shopping centre Euglena Mall. Ishigaki Airport is a 30-minute drive. All rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and sea views, an LCD TV and yukata robes. The serene Japanese rooms have traditional futon bedding on a Ryukyu-style tatami (woven-straw) floor, which features square tatami mats. Western rooms feature tiled flooring. Facilities at East China Sea include drinks vending machines and a launderette. Parking is available at a fee. A variety of complimentary welcome drink is available at the front desk. Guests at the East China Sea Hotel can enjoy a buffet meal at the terrace of restaurant Porto Azzurro.

Location good. Rooms have a lovely view of the ocean/harbour. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Housekeeping staff great. Coffee in reception is good too!!

In centre of town on harbour front, minutes from Ferry and bus terminals. 5th floor sea view room was splendid,with big balcony.

“It was okay and NOT more then that”
Most of the staff was friendly but definitely not everyone.....!!!! Very good location right next to the ferry port. Big and nice rooms and mine with Japanese style.

Location is perfect. Minutes walk from ferry, bus station and Ishigakijima Village for food and drink. Free tea and coffee in reception too. All rooms face the harbour with a balcony.

“Overall ok stay due to the good location .”
We like the location & the view from our room . It’s very near to the boat terminal which is excellent ! Less than 5 min walk .

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Cheaper than other hotels in the same area but with a balcony over looking the harbour. Great size room even for western standards.
