“Amazing Experience with Highlight Character”

Tremendous holiday apartment that has everything you need. Very clean, very generous with space and adding that amazing view on the ocean just like in the pictures. On top of that, the restaurant below serves amazing food for lunch and dinner! The staff, which also takes care of the villa guests, is extraordinary kind, dedicated and helpful. I cannot recommend enough having at least one (or more) meals there alongside the equally recommended stay at the villa!

“Probably the best hotel we have stayed at on Ishigaki.”

Hotel is right on the waterfront so has unobstructed views of the ocean through the large living room windows. Great sunrise every morning. Restaurant below serves amazing food at great prices and is open until around 9 with the option to eat in the room which was very convenient. The restaurant parking is available for use by those staying at the hotel and over the week we stayed there was always at least one spot available. There are large supermarkets about a 5 min drive away so picking up essentials is easy on the way back from a day out. Nice kitchen with standard amenities you would expect including a good quality washing machine which made packing light easy. The room was clean and well maintained and the staff were all very kind and accommodating. I have been to Ishigaki many times and I wouldn't go back to one of the resorts after staying here, will definitely book again.

Spacious, light apartment with the most amazing views and sunrise. Fantastic dinner at the restaurant below the apartment. The owner was available if we had needed anything. Would have loved to stay longer.

Beautiful, well-equipped, stunning view across the ocean from the living area, you can walk on the rocks at low tide (no swimming). Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Location is a bit remote, but staff can call you a taxi (even ahead), they’re at the restaurant every day but Wednesday, from 930ishAM till 10PM. Staff usually don’t speak English much, but they’ll grab the translator machine immediately to talk with you. You can also walk 3 min to the main road and grab a taxi there (longest wait 4 min). When headed for the villa tell the taxi driver to go to Jigoro Beach (name of the restaurant) instead of Hero Villa. The restaurant is excellent, some taxi drivers and staff at other hotels know how good it is. Make a reservation as it’s usually fully booked!

“Highly recommended home away from home on Ishigaki”

Clean, comfortable, and spacious apartment with a lovely water view. All amenities are provided and it’s an easy drive to nearby stores, restaurants etc. The staff were terrific - friendly and helpful. They work at the restaurant below (which you cannot hear at all) and work hard. I ate at the restaurant downstairs and it was fantastic - fully booked every night and it’s understandable why. Delicious food and efficient, friendly service. I could not fault this place.

“An exquisite place and a wonderful team to enjoy Ishigaki Island”

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at Hero Villa & Jigoro Ocean and had an excquisite experience. The villa is brand new and fully equipped, offers a fabulous view on the ocean and is tastefully decorated. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the wonderful Yaeyama Islands. We appreciated the quiet and authentic neighbourhood. The staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful, passionate and committed to create the best service. They took perfect care of us during the whole week (helping us to book taxi or sightseeing tours and providing great advice for the visits and so much more) and we had a lot of fun with them Thanks to the half board plan, we had the pleasure of tasting the restaurant's delicious cuisine.The dishes on the gourmet menu were varied, original and based on local produce. We highly recommend ! Overall we spent a magical week and already miss the team and the place ! thank you for everything guys :) Take care !

Everything about the property was breathtaking. The rental was super clean and well equiped for a smooth and luxury stay. We enjoyed dinner at their restaurant and it was nothing short of gracious, mouth watering dishes. The ambiance from both the house and restaurant are thrilling. Loved it. 10/10 i would recommend.
