“Best hostel bed, friendly staff”
Best hostel bed space I’ve ever had, was super cool and private like my own little pod, loads of space for bags and things around the bed and lockbox provided in side the bed too. Staff super friendly

“Great hostel with a good location at an excellent price”
Very nice hostel with super nice common areas, fast wifi, comfortable sleeping quarters and very accommodating staff. Ishigaki is a small city but the location was still very central and easy to walk anywhere.

Super friendly straff and pretty clean facilities. I have been to many guest houses around Ishigaki Island, but Chura cucule provides the enough amounts of toilets and showers for people staying there and completely separated by gender.

“Best guesthouse in Japan”
Everything. Staff, place, room, accommodations. I have been 2 month in Japan, and this is the best place i've went to. I could have stayed one month here. Every staff member is smiling and kind. The place is really confortable to chill in the common space. The all place is cosy and welcoming. The smoking area is outside. The room is wide. The organization during day and night is on point on every aspect.

“One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in”
Everything! This place was very clean, very comfortable and had excellent facilities. They had a drying room for wet swimming and diving gear, which was fantastic and the kitchen was very good for preparing meals. You can easily walk down to the main area of town where the ferries and buses are.

“Great choice to stay on Ishigakijima!”
I enjoyed my stay at Guest House Chura Cucule Ishigakijima. The location is good (not far from the bus terminal), the personnel are very polite and friendly, and all the amenities have been provided. Price/Quality ratio met my expectations. You can use the kitchen utensils, the washing and drying machines on site and relax in the relaxation zone reading some manga or chating with friends. I loved that we went to the Southern Gate Bridge to see the sunset with the staff team (though the sunset was pretty bad that day haha!). Great choice for those who want to save some money and have a pleasant stay on Ishigakijima!

Amazing place! This would deserve a 10+. Spotless, comfortable, very nice staff and it felt extremely welcoming. Amazing sitting area and kitchen area, clean bathrooms and conveniently located close to the buses and lots of places for food and drinks z Would definitely return on a future stay in Ishigaki!
