I only have good things to say about Beach Hotel Sunshine The location is incredible and it’s amazing value for money. * There is a huge selection of food at breakfast ranging from traditional Japanese to some western options. * The location is great. Amazing views from the hotel and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, and the option of getting a bus which goes directly to Kabira Bay. It’s also just a 30 minute walk from Family Mart. * Laundry service is available * The rooms are clean, comfortable and include a hair dryer/shampoo/body wash * The hotel has great additional features too such as complimentary Okinawa tea/infused water, Eco Programmes which reward you with discount coupons to use at the hotel for bicycle hire, drinks, food etc and it also has an art gallery. We had a great stay, the staff were friendly and the check in/check out process was very easy. I’d 100% recommend.

Great room 5208 looking straight out to the ocean and in the new building. Huge bed, spacious room and bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I loved the panoramic views of the ocean no matter where I was at the property. Saw some gorgeous sunsets on non-rainy days. I also loved the greenery in and around the property. Also, I had forgotten my headphones on my flight, and the person working on the front desk was very helpful. She called the airline for me, explained my situation, and coordinate the entire process so I could go pick them up from the airport lost and found. She made everything feel so seamless and easy. A big thank you to her fro me :)

“Beautiful hotel and grounds to relax after a busy trip travelling around Japan”

Stunning views. Friendly, helpful and professional staff

There were only 6 buses a day into town which was over an hour walk away. The local restaurants seem to close at 6pm leaving the hotel the only option with an expensive large set menu at night. We walked into town and eventually found some options as we wanted a small meal. We went to the hotel bar on our return at 9.30 to find it was closed. A shame as the hotel had given us vouchers for use there. Room lovely and spacious with great view.

we had fantastic views of the sea and enjoyed great sunsets with Iriomote island in the background. The hotel restaurant was a great place to enjoy very good diner

Clean and with amazing sea view

The hotel had a very relaxed vibe, the facilities were good with the outdoor pool and seating area, as well as use of inflatables, frisbies etc. The onsen was also very nice with a great sea view and was never very busy. Breakfast buffet was great and offered a very good variety. there was a shop to buy drinks and snacks. The only downside was the bar/resestaurant was very restricted in what it served, it would have been great to have a bar that was more useable by the pool. But apart from that the stay was very enjoyable and the staff very friendly.
