We were so pleased to have met Carmelina and Alfredo and had the chance to share their home for five nights. Their home is delightful and unique. Everything is very clean and well presented. If you want to eat dinner message Carmelina and arrange it. We ate vegetarian meals every night and drank great local wines and thought everything was very good value for money. Breakfast gives you each the choice to order in advance a sweet or savoury selection. We chose one of each and swapped about. We don't speak Italian and so used translation apps on our phone to ask questions and have conversations about the Forest House, food, wine, travel. It can be difficult to cope with the apps but two such interesting people makes all the effort worthwhile. I have read some of the other reviews and feel I should emphasise that you are sharing a lovely home and as it is their home, and they love it, they do set a few sensible rules. Like most people in the hot South of Italy they observe a quiet siesta time from 2 til 4pm. The swimming pool is fantastic and immaculate so not unreasonably they expect people to wear swimming hats. We felt we'd ask guests in our house to respect it but sometimes with difficulties of language these simple rules can sound authoritarian and in no way is that intended. This lovely couple are very proud of their home, their family, the farm and the animals, the riding school and particularly of Molise, a region of Italy most people have never heard of but which offers so much. We look forward to returning.

Very comfortable, we were so well looked after including an excellent dinner on the evening of our stay with some very nice vino. It was just like being part of the family.

House location is idyllic. Carmelina went out of her way to make us feel at home even catering for drinks and choice for breakfast. Place is immaculately clean and one really feels at home. Will certainly return..... and soon.....
