Just 5 km from Iserlohn in the peaceful North-Rhine Westphalia countryside, this timber-framed bed and breakfast features country-style rooms, a traditional restaurant, and bowling alley. Elegant wooden furnishing, satellite TV and safety deposit box are provided in each room at the Hotel Restaurant Daute. Many have a balcony with scenic rural views, and some rooms feature a flat-screen TV. A buffet breakfast and a selection of regional dishes are served in the rustic-style restaurant. In sunny weather meals and drinks can be enjoyed in the traditional beer garden. A variety of nature trails and cycle paths are directly in front of the Daute. The historic Altena Castle is a 15-minute drive away. Visitors can relax with a free newspaper or play table tennis, while children enjoy the on-site playground.

“Clean, comfortable and well maintained”
From the outside, the hotel looks very classic, but inside, the rooms have been completely renovated. Very clean. The staff was polite and helpful. There's a restaurant where you can eat very well for a reasonable price. Breakfast also good.

“I am really glad we stayed there, far more to my taste than the VierJahreszeiten in Iserlohn.”
The food was fantastic! Home cooked and locally sourced. I had the best night's sleep in a long time. It was so exceptionally quiet, just a few birds.

We ate and slept very well here - clean rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff and nice nature.
