“Traditional stay”

I had a wonderful time, staying in a traditional room, with windows facing the beach. There is a onsen inside. The older lady working there was very nice.

The elderly hostess was AMAZING. So friendly and helpful and she really added to our stay. The onsen was nice.

It was a beautiful traditional building that was perfect for a quiet couple of days. The area is really nice, and the lady who runs the place is the nicest person ever. Even though I couldn't speak japanese she was very patient and helpful

Sweetest woman took us in, and it felt perfect to arrive at a ryokan style guesthouse in beautiful Ise! I will come back here!

“Pleasant old Ryokan.”

Wonderful old Ryokan, direct on the beach of Futamino Ura. Pleasant reception by the old lady, who seems to run the house by herself. Beautiful japanese style room with direct access to the beach, this is incredible.

Wonderful character. Traditional rooms with modern comforts, and the massive life-sized alien statues at the entrance were an amusing contrast to the rest of the building. Easy walk from the train station, near a couple of really cute shops and eateries, not to mention the sea and Futami shrine. The public bath was small but I went in the early morning and had a very nice soak. The obaachan who runs this place was very charming.

The location was beautiful with an ocean view, and walking distance from Futamiokitama Shrine.

The ryokan is conveniently located near to the train station and just in from of the beach. I loved immediately the atmosphere of the ryokan and the bath space. The lovely owner made me feel at home and I cannot wait to go back for another holiday.

I love the vintage style of the property but still with a lot of character with the life size Alien and Predator standee and small display figures.

It’s a nice, cute place, quiet as well. I had a nice and Comfortable room with a nice view on the sea. Enjoyed the small onsen. Close to the beach, close to the wedded rocks, close to the station and easy to get from there to Ise shrine. Friendly host!

The staff was very friendly and helpful! Location is great too, about 10 mins walk to Meoto Iwa in case you want to catch sunrise.

Easy walk to Futami sightseeing, easy walk to station to take train to Toba. Interesting sights in the area and close to the sea.

“The lovely authentic Japanese ryokan”

Very friendly staff, especially a lovely kind old lady, she even helped me to carry my heavy luggage to the second floor! The location of the hotel is just in front of the sea. The famous Futami Okitama shrine is about less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The Japanese inn is rather old and has authentic ryokan style. The room is very clean.
