Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel 24 Step in the Austrian Alps was disappointing and left us with a very negative overall impression. First of all, the hotel was expensive for what it offers. We chose it because it appeared to be one of the cheaper options in the area, but in reality the value for money was very poor. The location is extremely central, which resulted in very loud music coming from the street at night. Sleeping was difficult, and this completely ruined the idea of a quiet Alpine stay. Meeting the hotel owner was also uncomfortable. When I spoke to him in person, he smelled very strongly of alcohol, which felt unprofessional and inappropriate. Regarding breakfast: we did not eat breakfast at the hotel. However, the owner asked us twice whether we would have breakfast. I had already read reviews mentioning that breakfast was overpriced, so I asked about the price in advance. He said it costs €20 per person, which confirmed our decision not to have breakfast, as this price is unreasonably high. The advertised “spa area” was misleading. It consists of only one sauna, two infrared heated chairs, and one steam room that is entirely made of plastic inside. This does not meet expectations of a proper spa or wellness area. Parking was another issue. The owner was very insistent that we use the hotel parking for €15 per day, claiming that there were no other parking options nearby. This was not true — we found underground parking directly next to the hotel for €7 per nig, which felt misleading. The checkout experience made the situation even worse. We left the hotel at 7:00 in the morning, when there was no one at the reception, so we left the keys on the reception desk. Later, I received a message saying that I must either return to the hotel or transfer an additional €46, without a clear explanation. “Zero hospitality”

We arrived there between the hours the reception should have been open to find noone. The person at the bar had no idea about the check-in implying we surely were at the wrong hotel. She was rude and yelled at us several times about where we parked the car (she twice told us where we should not park, it didn't even crossed her mind to tell us where we could actually park). We waited half an hour for the owner to come down from the slops to give us the keys - he literaly had his skying suit and boots on. The room we got was right above the bar, making it probably the loudest in the building. Other than the noise the room was ok, but this hotel is far from a 4-star hotel. Even if the reservation was in my name, the owner completely ignored me speaking English and exchanged only with my partner in German. I would never go back to this place. Horrible experience.

Location as next to the ski elevator. Breakfast was really nice buffet was of high quality. The coffee machine was fantastic without any extra charge. The staff very friendly and a nice après-ski area outside with good music more ibiza style then German style après-ski music.

Excellent hotel!!! Everything was great and awesome. This hotel has super close location to lifting cabins! Looking forward to visit this hotel next time!
