“Great family run hotel”

Great family run hotel. Everything was clean, thoughtful, and well organized. You can tell staff really cares. Intimate and comfortable with surprisingly large spa area.

Super cozy small family hotel. The location was even better than we thought: just at the edge of the town away from the crowds and noice, but still within a short walking distance. The slope ends behind the hotel and the closest ski lift is not that far either. Delicious breakfast nice sauna area and trust bar for drinks&tea/coffee.

There are very few budget restaurants in the village. Can be crowded and no table unless you have a booking.

An extremely pleasant boutique hotel. We particularly appreciated the kindness of the staff and especially of the manager (he helped us rent bikes, offered us robes and towels for the thermal baths). Underground parking (cars, bicycles), very good breakfast. Very spacious room. The hotel is close to the main street, but in a peaceful area.

Great place to stay with a very friendly, attentive and helpful host/staff, making you feel very much at home and comfortable in a relaxed atmosphere. This place exceeded expectations a lot and is highly recommendable. Host recommendations was very good and adapted to you, including stunning trekking and biking. Spacious and nice rooms/common areas, which is kept spotless. Breakfast is really good with attention to keeping a fresh buffet (Imagine a breakfast buffet actually maintaining perfect soft-boiled eggs available for you, and you get the level) :-)

Great hotel to stay, close to cable car, excellent view of mountains and water fall from the room. Breakfast is nice., many restaurants at walkable distance.

Very accommodating staff and management, excellent breakfast and exceptionallly clean. Dinner in adjacent hotel was to a very high standard and great value for money.

Great large apartment, very quiet area, very friendly staff who advised us on trips and facilities around Ischgl. Very good sauna area. We also liked to get the Silvretta card with free rides on mountain lifts, available during summer which was great for our hiking trip. Everything went smooth, highly recommended.

“Superb stay”

I wish I could give it a score of 11 out of 10 points... Hotel Montanara combines the comfort and services of a hotel with the friendly and warm atmosphere of a B&B. Lukas, the manager (owner+manager, actually), is a competent and polite gentleman who would run the extra mile to help you. Out of pure kindness - in fact, I don't think my Genius status mattered at all - he unilaterally decided to upgrade our room which basically became a large apartment. He also took the time to call two businesses located on a certain mountain track ,in order to see if they had found a camera that we had lost during our hiking. Let's talk about the hotel itself. The breakfast is superb, the quality and quantity of the products offered exceed your expectations. The premises are not simply clean but impeccable. The wellness centre (2 types of sauna, 2 different steam baths, etc.) is modern and a must-go after a day of walking. The beds are extremely comfortable. The whole area of Ischgl, by the way, is worth a visit: lots of walks, breathtaking views, I can only imagine how it looks in Winter! Will definitely go back!
