What a gem here in Isafjörður. We felt very welcome in this spacious and clean apartment. Everything here is just perfect. Every corner has been decorated with great attention to detail. Someone has really put their heart and soul into this place. The amenities are also unbeatable, and the host was very kind and helpful. We’ll definitely be back and recommend a stay without any limitations.

We loved staying at Tangs and were rather reluctant to leave this lovely and cosy apartment. It is located in the heart of Ísafjörður which allowed us to explore the town by foot. The property is spacious with all essential amenities needed (and more) and has been refurbished to reflect the history of this traditional house. It was quirky, fun and very cosy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

A very nice and spacious apartment, centrally located in Isafjördur. All rooms are beautifully decorated and make you feel at home immediately. Even the fridge was filled with wine, beer and soda - the latter free of charge.

Excellent appartment, so much love put into it. It's well equipped and feels like a home (for a day). Also: great location at the heart of a very charming town and next to a supermarket and gas station (both of which are rare in the region). Owner sent us on the road with loads lf tips.

I wont repeat how good this place is as many have done it! Almost a month I am back at home and still thinking Tangs place and the magic Isafjordur. Do yourself a favor and book with Tangs! Tangs thank you for having us and I hope I will return a day. Amazing and magic experience we had at this place!

The property was clean and inviting, all the wood cladding was just so beautiful. It was like a winter Lodge and with the snow outside it was really coming and wonderful. There is a secret bathroom behind a door which is a photo and that was very entertaining.

Great apartment, in middle of town. Able to walk everywhere but no problem if you have car. Clean, comfy and great staff. Highly recommend both for families and friends travelling together.

“Wonderful stay in the Westfjords”

Excellent location in a quiet corner of Ísafjörður. The Westfjords is one of our favourite places in Iceland and it's a shame we only stayed for 2 nights. The house has a rich history, although we were very much surprised by the eclectic theme of the house. It feels wonderful to be greeted by towering cliffs after stepping out of the house. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the nearby supermarkets are a great convenience. The apartment is warm and cosy. Bedrooms are comfortable.

Absolutely love this place. Stylish, clean, warm and very comfortable. Got everything you need. You can find a full collection of spices, tea, various flavours of salts, and kitchen appliances for cooking; washing machine and a dryer for laundry; some alcohol drinks (extra cost) when you can’t make it for the liquor shop’s opening hour. The host was very kind and helpful. He let us checked in earlier and provided us with information about the nearby sightseeing spots when we couldn’t go with our plan due to the road conditions. We really appreciated his advice and would definitely recommend it.

Cosy and very practical accomodation in the town center. Well equipped kitchen, big bedrooms, nicely decorated livingroom. Just everything you could ask for, or maybe just a longer stay 😆
