Nice cottage close to the beach

What an amazing end-of-the-world feeling. Both the nature and the cabin are stunning.

We loved how surrounded by nature we were. At night you can hear so many animals all around you, and it’s really magical. It’s also close to a beach, and only a 15 minute drive from uehara port. You would need a car to access the property, and restaurants do often need to be booked ahead of time in the evening, so we’d recommend getting a Japanese phone to be able to make those calls. The property offers a barbecue that you can rent for a night with meat and vegetables, which we’d highly recommend as we loved it.

“Wonderful and peaceful place to rest”

A lovely place to stay, in a beautiful wooden house constructed using traditional methods, in a peaceful and friendly village, only 2 minutes walk from a beach. Also very friendly and helpful reception desk, and an excellent hotel shop that sells local fish, groceries, ice cream, etc. All very clean and excellently organized.

Very quiet, in a very green village. The residence was spacious and very charming. Very nice welcoming. And the roof didn't fell on us during the earthquake!

Very spacious, close to the beach. Quiet residential area. if you just need a base to explore the island and want more than a hotel room this is great. You definitely need a car though

Great location, we had the whole house, it was open plan. Lots of space.10-15 minute drive to the town for our daily coffee (Iriomote coffee) and easy access to other attractions.

The accomodation in a tiny village in the jungle close to the sea, we saw loads of wildlife every night

It’s in a little village close to the beach. You can see the mountains and feel close to nature. Bats are flying around at night. During the day you can relax at the beautiful beach.

It was great to have our own cottage to ourselves. Hammock was a great hit for 10 year old. Booked a bbq set for the first night. We bought all of our ingredients at ishigaki island. (But u can order a food in advance. )

the location (very close to a beach an to rivers), wooden bungalow, open space, beautiful night sky, very calm place, very few people, we could relax well, helpfull staff, bycicle rent directly at reception, shop and ATM in nearby village (10 minutes by bycicle, 20 by foot)

The house is really spacious but very basic. It has all you need for cooking. You can rent the basic condiments. It's very close to a beautiful beach.

Large spacious bungalow, with a kitchen. Very close to a beach. Quiet and relatively secluded in the woods. Free parking! Very nice and friendly staff. Easy check-in and check out. Enjoyed our stay :)
