You really want to be able to give this property a very good rating. The building appears to have been a hostel converted into an aparthotel. The refurbishment is really good, but it isn't an aparthotel. At check-in, I asked for a quiet room. When I asked the receptionist to confirm that it was quiet, she did. I was allocated a room at the front, next to a karaoke bar and with motos buzzing up and down the street. I was told that I could be reallocated to another room the next day, if the room was too noisy. I got about three hours sleep. I asked to be reallocated, but was told that there were no rooms available, which was clearly untrue. The curtains in the room are very thin, so you get the light from the street and hotel external LEDs.. Above the door to the room are windows, and there are glass bricks at the top of the wall between the room and next. They use bright white LEDs for all rooms and corridors, meaning that you get no sleep until every else goes to bed and all lights are out. People leaving early wake you up. Other issues are that despite there being three or four routers, the wifi is often weak. If you are coming for business, then that is a problem. The showers are electric, and no real hot water. Not a major problem for Iquitos, but still.... Breakfast is nice, but plated. I got some attitude when I asked for another cup of coffee. I rarely give a negative review, with details, but I do not like to be lied to, and I do like to get some sleep. Despite the good refurbishment, and being four blocks to Plaza das Armas, I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you want some sleep.

The apartment was clean. They allowed us to leave our luggages while we took our 3 days tour in the Amazon forest.

Due to missing our connection flight, we arrived in the morning and we were able to use the apartment only for a couple of hours. However the apartment was spacious and spotless. The breakfast included in the price was abundant.1

“Small, sweet and friendly”

Very comfortable room with aircon - a must in spring/ summer - albeit on small side in size . Only negative is there is no elevator, but they did offer to carry the bags up 2 flights of stairs. Very friendly staff

“A perfect spot in Iquitos”

If you're looking for an affordable option in Iquitos then this could be a great fit! Firstly the communication and support from the multilingual staff was excellent straight after booking. Like everywhere they use whatsapp which is also great if you dont speak spanish! I was a little unsure given the location and the locked up frontage however having spent some time around the area its perfectly safe and actually only a 10 minute walk to the main plaza. So walking to the restaurants and shops is really not a problem - all the locals were lovely! Arriving - you'll be presented with a locked gate type door but they will buzz you in as reception is literally the other side. Room - nice, clean and great AC!! Bathrooms seemed fine however at the time we had no hot water due to a fault on the shower (I did see a tech fixing it when we left) but we did have cold showers each day ... but given the heat this was actually perfect!! Breakfast - fruit, egg and bread served upstairs. There's a seating area on the top floor which is nice. Food - note they only serve breakfast. The photos and 'lunch' available facility is incorrect. There is no food or any other service except breakfast! However you have loads of restaurants within 10 mins down towards the main plaza and boulevard. Staff - all very helpful!! Verdict - would stay here again without a doubt.

I liked it, but the sound insulation is quite poor. You can clearly hear sounds from the street, and the noise from other residents in the hallway is very loud. However, it was peaceful at night. The apartment was clean and tidy. The staff was really friendly and professional, and they spoke good English.

The apartment was very modern, there were plumbing issues in our original apartment so we were put in another location and the apartment was perfect. Very spacious, very clean and good air con. Breakfast the next morning was very nice in their terrace

The staff is really friendly and helpful, breakfast is great and the restaurant has very generous portions and a great selection for dinner. The area also feels safe to walk around at night. Rooms have AC which is a life saver in the hot and humid climate.
