Hide-away with love to detail and very connected to nature!

The place is pure bliss! Hidden away from the busy road you find yourself surrounded by beautiful nature, birds, sunsets while the Main Street is just a few minutes walking where you find everything you need. The owner is incredibly sweet, the breakfast a gift to start happy and healthy into the day and the walk around the property is wonderful!

Satisfaction

I was welcomed with a big smile and loving energi from Diego and his family. My maloca was nice. Bed was nice. The best pillows so far after my 7 weeks in Peru staying in diffrent places. Great complimentary coffee and purified activated water on the room. A lot of monkeys came to visit me wich was a highlight. Location was great for me. It was close to Allpahuyao Mishana National park where i went herping at night. Breakfast brought to the room in the morning was nice. I will be back in the future for sure. Muchas Gracias

A Hidden Gem full of Care🌴

This lodge is a true hidden gem. The owners are practising guardianship of this piece of rainforest and land and it’s a beautifully, and thoughtfully cultivated space. The ‘maloca’ was so pretty with really thoughtful detail….and the bed and pillows were excellent quality. I was able to work and then relax in the grounds. Breakfast was wonderful and I loved having my own kitchen- and resident frog in the bathroom.

Incredible stay

What an experience! I absolutely loved my stay and massive thanks to Benjamin and my best dog friend Gaia. The location of the lodge is just stunning, as is the lodge itself. Absolute paradise! The lodge is super clean and has everything you need, including the most friendly dog. Benjamin is just the best host and has lots of information. Definitely add on the breakfast, the pancakes and fresh fruit from the trees is perfect! You may get lucky and be greeted by the little monkeys. I'm very sad to be back in Lima!

Wonderful stay with a great host and cozy atmosphere

I was warmly welcomed by Ben, the host — he was incredibly kind, explained everything clearly, and we had some great conversations. I felt at home and very safe throughout my stay. His dog Gaia was absolutely adorable and added to the homely vibe. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit and delicious granola — a perfect start to the day. The maloka itself was super comfortable and well furnished, with a thoughtful and cozy design. A fun little bonus: Snoopy, the frog in the bathroom — he made me smile every time. :) And even monkeys visited me in the morning. Would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and warm experience before or after retreats.

Merci Ben!

Everything! From delicious breakfast ( Ben makes the best pancakes in the world) to beautiful cabaña and interesting conversations, everything was perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need, and you can prepare meals for yourself. I can truly recommend going for a walk in the night in search of frogs and other beautiful creatures. You can also enjoy cute monkeys! Great place to relax with the sounds of nature, but if you need to do some work, there is super good internet. This place was a real gem of our trip! Thank you

A little paradise in the jungle

Staying here was the biggest gift I could give to myself. Cynthia and Ben are extremely helpful and know just the right people in Iquitos. The cabin has everything you could ask for and the bed is very comfortable. Their dog welcomes you and I was lucky enough to see Ben feed the monkeys. A little paradise in the jungle with amazing internet! Would highly recommend staying here

Amaca: serene, eco-friendly jungle retreat with great hosts and stunning nature near Iquitos.

We had a wonderful time at Amaca Eco Station, nestled in a beautiful, lush jungle on the outskirts of Iquitos. This tranquil retreat is thoughtfully designed with eco-friendly details and offers a very cozy bungalow. The hosts, Ben and his wife, were incredibly friendly, and their adorable dog Gaia added to the charm. We enjoyed occasional visits from Pichico monkeys and spotting various birds. Local shops and restaurants are within walking distance, as well as the Centro de Rescate Amazónico and a lagoon for swimming. Ben’s hospitality was exceptional; he even arranged our transport from the airport and back to Iquitos. We would definitely stay here again—it's perfect for travelers seeking a relaxing time in a stunning natural setting!

peaceful jungle retreat

Really lovely place. Super peaceful and lots of birds and lizards. The owners are great at answering questions and were generous about offering support when I got sick. As a bonus, very near the Amazon Rescue Centre, as well as a small local market and a range of restaurants. I stayed in a maloka with a very well equipped kitchen that was a joy to use.
