Friendly staff and well located. It was clean and comfortable. Appreciated being able to fill our water bottles with filtered water and the option to use the communal fridge.

We were met by the most kindly lady. The atmosphere was great. Our room was an unexpected surprise of luxury (family room). I loved the bathroom design. The hotel is in the middle of old town, in walking distance of good food, coffee and sites like Columbine street.

Good location within easy walking distance of Heritage district of town which was very interesting. No breakfast at hotel but right next door to a lovely eatery which offered malaysian style breakfast and approx 5 -10 mins walk away from places serving western styles. Staff were kind and super helpful in every way.

Beautiful heritage hotel in Ipoh old town. Staff were so friendly helpful and welcoming. Comfortable and clean. Fill up water station. Able to open shutters on windows to allow lots of light into the room or make it dark for a good sleep-in. Family room was great size for 4 adult size people!

Sarang Paloh Heritage Stay was a great base in Ipoh. The staff were genuinely helpful and made everything easy from check-in to local tips. The location is also excellent — close to the main walking areas and attractions, so it was simple to get around on foot. Would happily stay here again.

The hotel is an attractive and handy place to stay for exploring old and new town Ipoh. Close by are great restaurants and breakfast places, and New Town is full of all the food options for which Ipoh is famous. The hotel is very comfortable with friendly and helpful management and staff. Love all the bird references 😁
