The view was spectacular. The breakfast was Mexican style made to order and ok. Should note the bedrooms are private but it is an outdoor living room.

“Exceeding all expectations”

Our time at Villas Del Sol was a highlight of our vacation. The view is truly breathtaking and the villa was private and comfortable. The hosts, a lovely couple, make every effort to make your stay comfortable (even cutting some fresh aloe vera plant to put on our sunburns :) The breakfast is delicious fueling you for adventures in nearby seafood and swimming paradise Tehua, or for an afternoon at Lover's Beach in Mayto both 5 minute drives away. The sunset was truly spectacular to witness from the Villa and long walks on the 12km beach below were amazing. It truly is a special place to visit and we hope to return to this paradise again someday! There is a bar and dinner menu available at the property and relaxed places to meet the other guests if you like (although relaxing solitude is also possible--which is important for me on vacation). We made friends with another couple and enjoyed talking with the hosts! If you are a nature lover and truly want to get away from it all you won't regret visiting Villas del sol!

“Buena Vistas & Chilled times are on the menu”

We loved our quick getaway to thhis un-touristy coast just southwest of the bustle of PV. We were looked after very well by our hosts, with excellent help from their 2 boys. Room was spacious and comfortable affording views of the coast overlooking the pool. The extra fan was terrific, and luckily the breeze blew most of the nights. Great time to visit leading up to XMAS and beyond. Bastion prepared a lovely Desayuno and was a welcome suprise, which is not how most other places operate these days, with only little interaction and maximum returns. This is a true Bed and Breakfast escape, with meals (and cold cerveza's) served on request through the day. Fantastic location, high above the coastline below. Views to the South were awesome, looking down from the wonderful pool towards the unpopulated and undeveloped Jalisco beaches, perfect setting. The setting, surounding area make for a superb place to wind down, relax and get away from the noises of Mexico (which are great most of the time). Thanks for the stay Cheers Adam n Tanya

The place is very special and in a spectacular location. The hosts ensure that your stay is very comfortable. The daily traditional Mexican breakfast was excellent, including fresh papayas from the trees on their property.

“Beach View Cabanas”

What an amazing location looking out over a huge beach. The food was great and we loved the personal service. Don’t get me started on the views from the lovely room or the pool. Actually we have booked to stay here again as we liked it so much.

If you haven't been to Villas Del Sol yet, it is a must see on your next trip! I just returned from this amazing little place nested on the mountian side of Villas Del Mar A tiny little town with a beach that extends as far as it eye can see. This place scores 5 out of 5 on my wow factor... The viewes from the place are Heavenly! See for yourself!. The 2 owners (Couple) went above and beyond during my stay and made me feel more like family! Their 2 sons are adorable and very smart and talented! The resuturant on site was amazing and food was prepaired fresh, prices were extreamly reasonable as well. This place is an all in one solution for your getaway. I found this a diffirent pace of life. From the amazing skys at night to the long walks on the beach. It was a diffirent experience a diffirent adventure! The Surrounding Areas offer dining and other activities such as a very cool little fishing village named Tehualmixtle. The swimming and snorkeling here is really good! I also want to mention Mayto is great place to checkout as well when in the area.. … If you decide on this place you will not be disapointed .. I will definatly be returning to Vilals Del Sol in the near future! Thank you for making my mini vacation very special! Ps. I Want to add that google maps when looking at directions shows this place right on the becah .. However its on the hillside … Be sure to double check before you plan the trip.. However the locals in the area are very helpful and will direct you if you have trouble.
