“Absolute bliss”

Location is perfect, loved drinking my morning coffee while watching the cows and calves come for their breakfast with Bennachie, Oxen Craig, in the background . Elizabeth & Graeme are always welcoming, love staying here. Although I travel for another reason this makes my stay perfect, will be back. It's close to Inverurie for shopping and so many wonderful Stone Circles. The accommodation is spotless, comfy, peaceful and there are thoughtful extras.

“Bliss”

This is a dream location, close to where I needed to go during the day (Chapel of Garioch) and warm and cosy in the evenings. It's perfect, feels as though it's in the middle of nowhere but close to Bennachie and 10-15 mins away from Morrisons. The cottage is lovely is every way, with essentials if needed and little extra treats provided. I loved watching the cows in the early morning wandering from the fields further away back to the farm for hay. Elizabeth and Graham are so friendly and happy to chat, so looking forward to my stay next year, a very special cottage in a stunning location.

What a lovely cottage, out in the middle of nowhere, just as I like it. Elizabeth and Graeme were such great folks even though we’d got there a day early( oops, I should have checked)they welcomed us with open arms. We got to meet Nero, Nicholas and all their lovely girls, cattle by the way. The beds were super comfy and a good size. The kitchen was completely fine not that we cooked, we were on holiday. I would love to come here again, really close to Bennachie, (you can see it from the kitchen window) which is a fantastic place to walk. Thank you so much.

A lovely little farmer's cottage very close to Inverurie. The hosts were warm and lovely, greeted us as well drove in and told us all about the farm. The cottage has two good sized bedrooms, and a good sized kitchen too, with great views of the hills and greenery of the surrounding areas. Despite being a working farm the area was quiet at night which was a lovely bonus.

Perfect, loved my stay here. Elizabeth met me on my arrival, showed me around the cottage which was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. Location was perfect, quiet, stunning views, the one from the kitchen is exceptional, Bennachie with cows and calves in the field by the cottage. Elizabeth's husband was happy to chat too and showed me the new calves with their mothers in the barn, they all had names. Even though you're in the middle of nowhere, you're close to Bennachie Visitor Centre (5 mins), Inverurie (good for food shopping), Chapel of Garioch (lovely tea room) and wonderful stone circles. Loved my stay, if I'm back in the area I'll be staying here again.

“Lovely weekend stay for the family”

The hosts live on-site at the farmhouse and are friendly and hospitable. The cottage is very clean, warm and comfortable. We loved that the cows came to say hello at the kitchen window! There are good woodland walks close by, and it's an easy drive to Inverurie for supermarkets etc. Recommend arriving in daylight if possible as easier to find.

The location is everything. The drive is through small country lanes and then the cottage is in the middle of nowhere. Right at the farm. So quiet and peaceful. However it only takes a small drive to get to quaint villages , and a large town. The property was spotless. Immaculate. Had everything that was needed. A well equipment kitchen, that looked new. And a gorgeous shower/bathroom. Waking up in the morning to see the cows by the kitchen window was adorable 🥰 The owners of the farm are the most lovely of people. Helpful but not obtrusive. Gave lots of information for travelling around. Happy to help if needed. 🙏🏼

The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The owners were welcoming and helpful. It is perfect as a base for exploring a beautiful area or visiting local family for example. For us it was ideal as it was situated close to a wedding venue which we were using for a family wedding. We will happily use it again.

We wanted a farm location and we got that in spades. The owners were very generous with their time, talking about farming in Scotland and giving advice about nearby attractions. The cottage was very clean and functional and had all the amenities we needed. Very enjoyable and informative.
