Quiet. Comfortable. Daily servicing of rooms. Plenty parking. Very good breakfast. Good value for money. Convenient for everywhere we wanted to visit.

“A pleasant stay”

Quiet location, food was good, staff were friendly and allowed us to book in an hour earlier. The car park was spacious. Our room was fine and not too expensive!

Handy for family, easily accessible from the main road. The breakfast we had was well made and a good sized portion.

The hotel was a perfect location for our trip to Balmoral. There were 8 of us and all rooms a good size and lovely decor. We ate in the restaurant and both evening meal and breakfast really good value for money. For us the best thing about this stay was the staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Jackie was one of the most helpful members of staff we have encountered on any trip.Also a younger girl who’s name we didn’t get but gave some old ladies some useful make up tips! We were very late finishing in the restaurant but she was so very kind and helpful even getting us water as she was leaving to go home! Both went above and beyond. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Dinner and breakfast were very good but busy and we felt sorry for the staff having to cope. The breakfast serving area was very small and inadequate for the number of diners trying to get their drinks, cereals, toast etc.

“Poor service poor breakfast”

Not much to like after being told we had missed evening food by 10 minutes. No offer of anything to eat just no you’ve missed it. Had to get taxi into town for a meal. Skinny guy with the funny glasses needs a lesson on how to deal with people. For £180 for bed and breakfast Breakfast was poor Definitely will not be back we usually stay in Alford at the Haughton Arms far more pleasant staff . You should advertise as a restaurant with rooms not a hotel
