Location is unbeatable with a massive lawn garden and a view on the Lake, studio was well-equipped and comfortable with everything we needed

-superbly equipped -nice view from the garden (yes, there is no direct access to the lake, but that was no problem for us) -walking distance to many lovely shops and bars -very relaxed neighborhood

I felt like the time required to fill out both the booking.com and the Nomadic hosting service was onerous given that we were also having trouble finding it in the dark. Lights were burned out, and we couldn't find it. I had to call to the property managers to be able to check in, as there was no indication of which suite this was to be. That call was interupted by my credit card company who called me to confirm that the charge was intended. All in all, we were about a 3 minute drive away when we booked this accommodation, yet the total time for booking, finding it, then trying to get in, took us 45 -60 minutes. The property manager was helpful and friendly, but the experience was certainly an annoyance. I recommended that they create a lighted address sign at the road so we didn't need to guess by elimination then confirm by approaching the house. The porchlights were also burned out. The walkway to the door from the parking is uneven, and I mildly reinjured a healing foot injury. Parking is very convenient. The extremely musty smell from the toilet room was quite unpleasant. the suite is a converted carport, and while care was taken to make it attractive and enjoyable, and while it was clean, and the view was beautiful, the cramped toilet room with the micro sink and lack of counter, and the small shower with the curtain onto the main space, was definitely weird and a bit awkward. A very strong musty smell from the toilet pump as unpleasant. No visible signs of mold, and the room was spotless. The musty smell must be from the water in the pump, it seemed to me, as it is retrofitted plumbing in a converted garage. Leaving the bathroom fan on reduced the pungent smell, but only somewhat. Summary: somewhat over priced, in my opinion: Many aspects are done very well. A few of these quirky issues could be overlooked, but combined together, it did not make for a miserable stay, but it left me feeling that I had overpaid.
