Overview
Offering panoramic views of the Bernese Alps, The River Village is set right at the banks of the Aare River, 1 km from Lake Brienz and the centre of Interlaken. It provides free WiFi and includes an Indian restaurant. The restaurant features a traditional Indian clay oven and serves authentic Northern and Southern Indian cuisine, as well as many vegetarian dishes. The simply furnished rooms at The River Village overlook the lake and feature cable TV and a seating area. All rooms have a private bathroom. Interlaken Ost Train Station is a 15-minute walk away, while Interlaken West Train Station can be reached in a 20-minute walk. The Jungfrau ski area is 15 km away. “I would like to stay there again 🤩”
Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside resort. The rooms were cozy, the view was peaceful, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. One thing I really appreciated was the pantry always being well-stocked with enough tea and coffee throughout the stay. Overall, a perfect place for a calm and refreshing getaway.

The hotel was very good. We enjoyed our stay so much. There was a lake right in front of our room.the hotel was right next to the train station.the staff was also very good. We also got free pick and drop service.

We had a very good stay at this hotel for four nights. Everything was clean and well organized. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the main train station and near the river, which made the area very beautiful. The staff was also very kind and helpful. One man even took us to the main train station twice and helped us with our luggage. He was extremely nice. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel❤️❤️

Excellent location on the river bank. Friendly staff, clean room, had a mean in the Indian restaurant which was really good. Great base for exploring Jungafrau region, being a stone throw away from Interlaken Ost station.

Loved the calmness at the place. The room was good and large enough for family. All amenities were well explained in site, by people. We had to do a late check in, so had I called in to tell. All things were ready and kept before we arrived.
