The host very helpful they let us keep our luggage for couple of hours after checkout. They also provide hotel cards for free travel within the city boundary.

Great location for views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Range of games available, including pool and darts. Breakfast was delicious. Room was a good size, again with a great view. 20 minutes walk to the St. Beatus waterfall and caves

“Excellent location, needs modernisation”

The location was excellent. Between Thun & Interlaken, very near the Beatus caves, 2 bus stops. The room was good size, though in the basement so no view of the beautiful surronding. Beds were ok and ample storage space and a dining table n chairs which was really useful. The breakfast had variety, though it was all plated to us individually. First time experience for all of us. It had a yougart, a fruit, bread rolls.. one for each person, half a boiled egg😅, cold meat, assortment of butter, jams etc, fresh juice, tea or coffee. The lady did come n ask if everything was enough & it was but I wondered if we were allowed more, if we asked. We paid £65 less for same room type in Zurich and it was on the lake with lake views and breakfast was a lovely spread, more variety of fruits, pasteries, choice of hot n cold drinks, cereals etc. So not sure if it was worth the charge but it was a late booking as we decided to stay for the beatus caves rather than staying in Lucerne for one night, before flying back from Basel.. The hotel is not near any restaurant but the bus stop is just outside so u can go to other areas to eat. There is customer car park which is very useful as it it's a bit out of the way from most places like shops n restaurants and activities.

The host Alice was amazing, she is kind and homely. The location was dreamy and the view from the breakfast lounge was spectacular. The Garden space is beautiful and cheerful. My expectations were surpassed

“Excellent”

Very well priced and right next to the lake. There is a restaurant 10 mins walk down the road. Breakfast is served at the hotel with a lovely balcony view. When you arrive at the main door there is a doorbell if the door is locked. I made the mistake of not noticing the doorbell and was walking around thinking there was another door. Google maps does not take you to the hotel via the address so be careful because it's a steep hill Google takes you down at the lake. Put the hotel name in Google and not the address and the hotel name takes Google maps to the hotel.

The hosts are really nice. The location is also very nice, next to the lake.
