“Awesome accomodation in Interlaken!”

This was my first hostel experience and I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were nice and friendly upon check in. One of the gentleman working downstairs would always make an effort to say hi to me when walking past. The dorm was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were great. However, would be good if there was a stove top / oven in the communal kitchen. Location was excellent! Huge shoutout to the staff for assisting me with shipping an item I left behind. They truely went above and beyond to assist me and I am very grateful for their assistance.

Goddess staff convenient location good price for area

The hostel offers an excellent location at a very reasonable price. It is extremely convenient for getting around, with the nearest bus stop just a 3-minute walk away. There are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it easy to find food and essentials. The room was reasonably clean and came with a sink, which was very convenient and added extra comfort to the stay.

Location is PERFECT, Staff were extremely nice and located about a tavern they were just so friendly and helpful. Could not recommend this place enough.

We stayed at Happy Lodge Inn in Interlaken and had a mixed experience. First, I would like to thank the two ladies at the reception, who were always welcoming, helpful, and pleasant throughout our stay. Their kindness and professionalism were truly appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience with a member of the kitchen staff was disappointing. The hotel provides guests with access to a kitchen area that includes a microwave and basic utensils. Our 15-month-old daughter has a small appetite, and her mother simply wanted to warm up a small homemade meal that she enjoys eating. This would have taken no more than 10 minutes. When we politely asked whether we could use the kitchen for this purpose, the response we received was unnecessarily rude and unfriendly. We fully understand that there may be rules regarding the use of the kitchen facilities, and we would have respected them. However, such rules can be communicated in a courteous and respectful manner, especially when the request concerns a young child. This interaction left a negative impression and was in sharp contrast to the excellent service provided by the reception staff. We hope management takes this feedback into consideration and reminds all staff members of the importance of treating guests with courtesy and respect.

“Lovely Hostel with a bar and restaurant”

The staff gave really good advice on what to check out and what to avoid given the time of the year! Big self-kitchen and luggage area, fully stocked with 3 fridges and 3 microwaves. Clean bathrooms and WC. And really close to the West station, bus stop right behind for Grindlewald. They provide a lock for a deposit as well!

The location was perfect, very quick walk to train station. The pub underneath was great, it couldn’t be heard from the rooms if that is something you are worried about. The rooms were very clean and comfortable as well as the bathrooms. Staff were also lovely !
