Overview
Centrally located, a 3-minute drive from Interlaken’s West Train Station, Funny Farm offers great-value accommodation within natural surroundings. It features a summer outdoor pool and a ski school. The bright rooms of the Funny Farm hostel are simply furnished and decorated in different colours. Some include private en-suite bathrooms, others have shared facilities. As part of the Mattenhof Resort – Garden Hotel, guests can enjoy an all-Swiss gaststube experience and enjoy traditional specialities as fondue and rösti. A locally-brewed beer is available at the Club Cavern bar. Funny Farm also provides an array of activities from golfing to horse riding from canoeing to tennis. Wi-Fi is free in public areas and free private parking is available on site.

“Good for short stay at reasonable price.”
Location is good, has good connectivity by bus. Has lots of amenities for spending time. Has water dispenser and also a microwave for heating food. Has a large dining area with indoor and outdoor sitting.

“A great hostel with stunning views”
Wow just wow, incredible hostel, with the friendliest of staff set in large gardens and mountain views. A grand house with our own balcony. Free bus right outside. For the price it was such good value.

Would recommend funny farm to anyone visiting Interlaken. Exceptional location. Very clean and lovely staff. Everyone in Interlaken is welcoming and helpful.

Just 1 km away from city center, It was an old but nice building, room was clean & comfortable. It was really cheap compared to other hostels around. The reception guy was kind and he helped me for a better room & bed.

The house has a beautiful view and is very close to a supermarket. On the first floor, there is a kitchen and dining area that is very chill and relaxing.

“Great location and beautiful views”
The stay was very good. The location is just a 10-minute walk from the center. There is free parking and a beautiful place to sit and enjoy food with lovely views. The only downside was that the room was small and there was no mirror in the room, but everything else was good. I was very satisfied overall.
