Overview
The Hotel Sonnhof is located 7 km from Innsbruck near the centre of Mutters, at the end of a quiet, private road. It features its own indoor swimming pool and a sauna. Lunch and dinner are offered in the on-site restaurant, and free WiFi is available in all areas. Situated amid a garden with blossoming flowers from spring to autumn, all rooms at Sonnhof feature box spring beds and a flat-screen LED-TV with cable channels. The private bathrooms come with a walk-in shower and a bathrobe is offered free of charge for stays of more than 1 day. Some rooms feature a balcony with mountain views. There is an à la carte restaurant at the property which is open all year round and half-board reservations are also available. Hotel Sonnhof offers a ski and bike storage room. From the hotel it is only a leisurely 5-minute walk to the stop of the Stubaital tram. This traditional tram takes you to the city centre of Innsbruck within 20 minutes, passing through lush green meadows and fields on its way.

“Would love to return!”
Love, love, love this hotel! The staff, namely Anna, Sonja and Michaela went above and beyond to make it a great stay! We arrived very late (after 10pm) after a long 12 hour drive from Amsterdam port and Anna offered us supper and cooked a gorgeous spaghetti bolognaise which was much appreciated - and this was how our stay continued! Our room with balcony was newly refurbed and was lovely - very contemporary with a gorgeous shower/wetroom - I’d highly recommend this hotel and we ate in for three nights of our four-night stay and the food was fantastic! We were offered supper in the beautiful gardens too! The tram into Innsbruck centre leaves from the corner every half hour - a really lovely hotel!

Lovely peaceful hotel with very warm and welcoming staff. It was lovely to relax in the pool after a long day and the food in the restaurant was delicious and home made.

Central location in village Close to tram station giving access to Innsbruck, to save taking a car. Nice staff who spoke English Very good breakfast & evening meals - good sized portions. Nice swimming pool with robes & towels supplied. Would go back again.

“Great place for relaxation”
The personnel were especially helpful - Sonja and Michaela to mention some but everybody made sure you felt comfortable. Good breakfast and evening meals. The pool and sauna were great after a day of hiking and skiing. Highly recommendable place.

“Nice hotel - amazing staff!”
The most friendly staff ever! Michaella is a star! Very nice hotel, rooms are good size, bathrooms are somewhat dated but nothing broken and all very clean. The restaurant is nice, food is good. Breakfast is good - plenty of choice. The sauna is a big plus (after skiing). The pool is ok for kids. Ski areas are closeby, doable by bus (I understand) but we had a car, so can't judge (but closest slope is 5 mins away). Good parking. I would definitely recommend this hotel - we will come back :)

“Lovely hotel, great staff”
Good quiet location at Innsbruck city fringe; about 5 minutes’ walking distance to station for train into Innsbruck. Very friendly staff, especially in the dining room. We had breakfast and dinner there over 2 days, and were very well looked after. They really made us feel welcomed!

Breakfast was good, the variety was nice! The restaurant was very good also in the evening! The staff were very nice and helpful. We booke 2 nights and we got free public transportation ticket to insbruck and inside insbruck for the whole day which was amazing!

We used this hotel as a stop over, and it was lovely. The views from outside the hotel of the mountains are stunning. The inside swimming pool area is nice and modern and a great relax area if you've been driving or exploring all day. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were okay, and we had a lovely garden view. EV charging was available on site and was fully functional.

The staff and location were outstanding. Breakfast was included and a Innsbruck travel pass for the duration of our stay.
