Central location

Location is good. Just 5 minutes walk from the main station, next to the Innsbruck Triumphal Arch, about 7-8 minutes to the old town, golden roof. There is a supermarket just opposite the hotel. Many food options nearby. The room is on the smaller side but acceptable. Bathroom is compact but clean. You have a side view of the Triumphal Arch from the room window. Our room on the 2nd floor had additional stairs to cross after the lift. We had requested before check in for an electric kettle in the room for tea coffee and warming the pre cooked food packets. However it was not provided. After several requests the person on duty talked with her boss / seniors and agreed to provide hot water but not the kettle. I offered to pay for any damages to the kettle and then only they gave the kettle to me. This is simply too much. The breakfast was strictly ok and the most frugal amongst all the 7 days stay in Austria. No toaster machine, no sliced bread to make sandwiches, no cocoa or chocolate milk for children either. The hotel has limited staff and reception hours. This is ok until you realise that this impacts luggage storage too. No staff from 12 to 3. You can't store or retrieve luggage during these hours. They are very rigid and not accommodating for even 10-15 minutes. Even the main door access is restricted post checkout. We intended to store luggage with them post checkout and do the Swarovski crystal world and collect the luggage on return. However their limited working hours and rigid attitude did not permit this. We lost valuable time and missed our bus by just 1 minute. The next bus was after 2 hours. We returned back to the hotel, collected our luggage and used the paid lockers at the station. We couldn't afford to miss our afternoon train. The hotel has a good location and fulfills the basic requirements. That's all. Nothing more.

What was bad is that the fire alarm went at about 22:30-23:00. We went outside as many people did but there was no one around to tell us what was happening. The fire engine people only came about half an hour later. Just before they came a chinese lady appeared from inside the hotel and smilingy said "don't worry it is nothing, I cooked my noodles" 1) a faster and better response is expected 2) someone from the hotel should be there immediately and calm the people 3)better precautions must be taken that someone doesnt cook in the room.

“My Experience of an Innsbruck Hotel”

Yes basic hotel looks more premium on the outside then the inside it is quite dated and old no modern amenities just bed tv bathroom its fine but nothing to go craxy about.

The breakfast was okey, it’s good that is included in the price, the room was good and enough for two people with big bags, it has soap and shower gel. The location is perfect, that’s why we chose the hotel and the price is good for Innsbruck.

Facilities: Apart from towels, no additional amenities are provided (not even complimentary water). Air Conditioning: There is no air conditioning. During summer, the rooms can get quite warm, even at night. You may need to keep the windows open while sleeping, which means outside noise can be heard throughout the night. Room: The room was of a decent size—not too big and not too small. It had three beds with clean blankets and covers. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom: Very small and compact. No hair dryer was provided in the room. Breakfast: The options were somewhat limited. The spread included 4–5 varieties of bread, boiled eggs, yogurt, cornflakes, cereals, tea, coffee, and juice. While the quality was satisfactory, guests looking for a wider selection may find the choices a bit restricted. Power Outlets: Plenty of plug points available (at least four). Keys: The same key is used for both the room and the hotel's main entrance. Overall: A good option for travelers looking for a centrally located hotel with easy access to transport and nearby attractions.

The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Very good location. Close to the train station and the old city.

It was in a good location, being close to the station and the main tourist centre. Breakfast was good, staff were topping up constantly.
