Overview
The quietly located Hostel Marmota on the outskirts of Innsbruck is 3 km from the city centre and 500 metres from Ambras Castle. It offers free WiFi in the entire building and features a garden with a terrace and barbecue facilities. Our reception is open from 7am to 11am and from 2pm to 10pm. After 10pm you can check-in by yourself, using the tablet next to main door. The simply furnished rooms at the Marmota Hostel feature a private bathroom and toilet. Guests can use a common room, a free luggage store and Ski & Snowboard storage. Public parking is available on site (at an extra charge from 09:00 to 19:00, during weekends and holidays, they are free, as well). The nearest restaurant and grocery store are 400 metres away. Tivoli Stadium is 1 km away. A great way to get into the mountain spirit: taking the stairs to reach the upper floors, as we don’t have an elevator – it’s a mini adventure that’s totally worth it when you get to the top!

“Great Hostel and facilities”
The hostel was exceptional, clean, excellent facilities, bonus free breakfast, public transport a few blocks away, nice linen. Breakfast room doubles as a bar (it was quite while I was there). The hostel and rooms are bright and roomy. My room had two nice bathrooms and a kitchenette. Staff were friendly. From the outside the hostel looks unexceptional.

The hostel's location is great, it is just a few minutes walk from tram 3 which brings you right into the city center in 15 minutes. The room was clean, and the breakfast was great. It is a perfect choice for a short stay.

“Good Value for a Short Stay”
This hostel serves its purpose well and offers exactly what you would expect from a hostel stay. The rooms were adequate, and overall it was a practical option for a short trip. The tram station is nearby, which makes getting around very convenient, and Schloss Ambras is also within walking distance. Overall, a good budget-friendly option with a convenient location.

Great breakfast in the morning, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room with a good bed. Not far from the city center by car. There is parking available to reserve.

Cleanliness! Big rooms, easy acces with public transport, although arrival at night it is not easy to find,. But all in all it'd a good value for money very quiet location, near the mountains, enjoyed my stay! Comfortable beds? Amazing!

clean & bright. the room for 6 beds was quite spacious. with 2 WC / Bath ensuite. location wise, though not in the city centre, tram #3 took only abt 15min. and walked about 5min to hostel. great for those who like quiet place.
